•---Harry---•

As soon as I had shut the door to Zayn's room I began running as fast as I could to where Leila would be with Marcus.

The twentieth floor and the twentieth room.

It was a special room. Only those who I wished to enter it were able to. It was the perfect hiding spot from Zayn.
There was only one reason to worry.

Leila.

She was extremely stubborn and would fight against staying there unless she knew the truth.

Should I tell her about Zayn?

Or would making up a lie be better?

I pondered this thought as I stood at the door with my hand on the knob. Taking in a deep breath, I turned it.

Here goes nothing...

•---Niall---•

"No. That did not just happen. Old wells do not open up to secret lairs! What kind of world are we living in?!" Bradley practically yelled as the well opened up.

I rolled my eyes. "A world full of magical creatures and magical items. Get used to it." I started walking down the stairs.

"WAIT! Your just going to walk into a well?! What if there's some evil dangerous human eating monster down there?" Bradley said.

"Haha. Your not far off." I winked at him just to freak him out even more and walked down the stairs. I wasn't sure if Bradley would follow, but to my surprise I heard footsteps behind me. I heard Bradley jump as the well closed behind him. We were now encased in utter darkness.

"NIALL I CANT SEE ANYTHING!" Bradley shouted.

"Well maybe you should be a werewolf and have night vision so you'd be able to see." I responded.

"Ha ha. Very funny. Can you please help me now?"

I sighed and went back up and grabbed him. "Put your hand on my shoulder and don't let go. I'll lead you." We walked down the stairs in silence and at last came to a door. On either side of it there were lanterns and I felt Bradley's hand slip off my shoulder. I reached out and used the carrot shaped knocker and waited.

There was a little hole above the knocker that slid open and two blue eyes stared at us intently.

"WHO DARES TO ENTER THE LAIR OF THE ALMIGHTY POWERFULLY AMAZING WIZARD LOUIS!" He roared.

Bradley jumped back while I just laughed. "Only the more amazingly awesome um-cool werewolf Niall."

The door swung open and Louis attacked me with a hug. "NIALLER!" He cried.

"BOOBEAR!" I said back.

"Losers." Bradley said in the back.

Louis whirled around and eyed him up and down. "Who's the little kid?" He asked me.

"Hey I am not little!" Bradley said angrily.

"His names Bradley. He followed me from the human camp. I need your help." I said to Louis.

"Is it about the whole Leila, Liam, and their friends being kidnapped by Harry thing? If so, I've been expecting you." Louis wiggled his eyebrows at us.

"You knew?! Why didn't you tell me?" I exclaimed.

"Ah mate, that's not the way magic works. You know that. It's part of being so powerful-I can't interfere with most situations unless directly asked to. I'm like a genie in a bottle in a way." Louis responded.

"I guess that makes sense... Well, since you know why I'm here, you know what I'm asking of you too?" I questioned.

"You want my help to save them! And I shall grant it of course! They are my friends too!" Louis said happily.

"Alrighty then. We will need a plan..."

•---Harry---•

I swung the door open hesitantly. I was not at all prepared for the sight that greeted me.

The whole room was a overturned mess. Things had been scattered all throughout the room. Leila was struggling against Marcus, whom was also struggling to keep her contained. It looked as if Leila had kept trying to make a break for it, and Marcus was only barely able to hold her back.

"Leila!" I cried as I shut the door behind me.

"URGH-tell your-ugh-stupid vampire friend-UCK-to get off of me!" She cried in between struggles.

I waved a hand at Marcus and he let go instantly. Leila fell to the floor panting.

"Sorry sir, I was doing my best to follow your orders. She's a tough one." Marcus said.

"No worries Marcus. You can wait outside now." He nodded and began walking by before I stopped him. "Thank you. So much." I murmured.

Marcus smiled and nodded. He understood the gratitude written in my face as he exited the room.

I turned around to see Leila glaring at me. "Uh-Hey." I said to her.

She gave me a death stare for over a solid minute before she responded. "You have your little bloodsucking friend grab me and drag me to this room and try to keep me here AFTER you kidnapped me and all you can say is HEY?" She said furiously. Before I could answer she ran to the bedroom and slammed the door shut.

I sighed. That could've gone better. I need to talk to her...
I walked up to the door and knocked softly.

"Leila?"

No response.

"Can-Can we talk? Please?"

Silence.

"I-I need to tell you what happened."

Nothing.

I swallowed nervously. Telling the truth was far more difficult than keeping this hidden from her, but alas I knew I had no choice.

"Zayn came here." I blurted out.

The door swung open and Leila's face was drained of all color. "Z-Z-Zayn?" She breathed out in barely a whisper.

"Yes. He came here because he knew that I always know where you are. He asked me where you had been hiding and I wouldn't tell him. He forced me to let him stay here tonight though.. I'm sorry I had to have Marcus drag you here with no explanation, but I had no choice. He wants you Leila, more than anything, and I'm never going to let that happen. If he got his hands on you... I don't even want to think about what would happen. I'm so sorry Leila... I thought bringing you here would protect you, but now I see how wrong I was." I was staring at the ground guiltily the whole time, too scared to look at her reaction.

"Oh Harry..." I heard her say.

I chanced a glance up and was surprised by what I saw. Her face was full of gratitude and realization. Before I had a chance to say anything more, she leaned in and pressed her lips to mine.

The kiss was unlike anything I had ever experienced before.

It felt like my body was on fire, like there were sparks flying through me, like I was unstoppable.

I never wanted this to end.
I could happily stay like this forever.

But then she pulled back. I opened my eyes in a daze. She gave me a small smile. I opened my mouth to say something, but suddenly the door swung open. Marcus was standing there and he quickly shut it.

"Marcus? What are you doing here?" I said, still dazed.

"Sorry sir. It's an emergency. Zayn's wandering the castle. Our erm-" he glanced at Leila,"other guests aren't going to be safe much longer."

"LIAM!" Leila cried,"Harry, you have to keep them safe! Zayn wants Liam almost as much as he wants me! Please!"

"Of course Leila, don't worry. Can you stay here?" She nodded.
"Marcus and I will go get them and take them somewhere safe." I kissed her on the head and ran out the door with Marcus.

This is going to get interesting.

•---Louis---•

"La la la la la la la LA LA LA LAAAAAA!" I sang happily as we walked along.

"Can you please just SHUT UP!" Bradley shouted. I laughed. This kid was so easy to annoy. It was quite fun.

"Can you please stop being so tiny?" I chirped. Niall laughed and Bradley glared at me.

"Ha ha. Your hilarious." He growled.

"Why thank you! It's a gift!" I winked at him. He just growled and stomped ahead.

"What's his deal?" I asked Niall.
Man, I had missed my Nialler. It had been at least a month since he'd been able to stop by, due to the bad conditions of the war.

"Eh, who knows? I just met him not even a day ago." Niall explained.

"Seems like there's a story to him. I'm going to figure it out." I commented.

Niall snorted. "Yeah, good luck with that. He's not exactly what you would call friendly."

I shrugged."So? Name one person who doesn't like me. Go on now."

Niall thought hard for a solid ten minutes before finally saying,"Okay Okay your right. Maybe you do have a shot."

We had been so immersed in our conversation that we didn't notice that Bradley had stopped until we ran into him.

"Watch it idiots. We're here." Bradley said.

I glanced up to see my best mates castle. Ah Hazza, what've you gotten yourself into this time? I don't want to be against you but... I may not have a choice...

Sorry Haz, things might not go well for you this time. Leila is more important then even you realize...
