•---Past Liam---•

"YOU CLEARLY DID SOMETHING WRONG. They. Are. Not. Here." I growled at Niall.

"I did not! I entered Doncaster on the teleporting thing, and that's where we are! They're here, in this park, I can smell them!" Niall retorted.

"Well your stupid nose must be broken or something because-"

"MY MOTHERFREAKIN NOSE ISNT BROKEN. THEY ARE HERE LIAM SO HELP ME-"

"ILL TURN YOU INTO A CARROT." Another voiced chimed in. I whirled around to see none other than Louis, grinning madly. He was leaning against a tree nearby.

"LOUIS!" Niall tackled him with a hug. They looked overjoyed to see each other.

"NIALL! Man, I missed you! Oh hey Liam! Sup?" Louis said.

"Oh you know, just on the run from crazy Shapeshifters. Oh did I mention that Niall and I also pissed off the vampire king? Just the norm." I responded.

Louis threw his head back and laughed. "Well sounds like fun. It's about time you guys got here. We've been expecting you." Louis wiggled his eyebrows and grinned,"Let's go talk about this somewhere more private. I'm sure you want to see Justin and Leila again, am I right?"

"LEI! Oh my goodness yes is she okay?" I asked.

Niall cleared his throat and glared at me, clearly waiting for an apology.

"Alright alright, sorry for doubting you Niall. Anyway, How is Leila?" I said.

"She's wonderful, don't worry! LEILA JUSTIN COME HERE!" Louis called into the tree.
Ok, This guy is definitely out of his mind.
The tree suddenly opened up a wide hole down the middle, wide enough for a person to fit through, and out came my sister and Justin. Leila saw me and began crying as she ran up to me and hugged me. I was crying too.

"Liam, you have no idea how much I missed you! I was so worried about you." Leila sobbed into my shoulder.

"YOU were worried?! I've been even more worried about you. Thank god your okay. We have a lot to tell you." I replied as I wiped away my tears. Justin was talking to Niall and as we walked up to them he smiled at me.

"Can I talk to you for a sec?" I asked as Louis led Lei and Niall into the tree. Justin nodded and we held back. "I just wanted to thank you for keeping Leila safe. I should have been there, but I wasn't. You have no idea how much it means to me that you kept her safe."

Justin smiled,"No thanks necessary. It was my pleasure. She's pretty amazing. I'm sure she'll want to tell you what we went through sometime. She's really brave."

"Yeah, she's something else. Okay well we should get inside now before we get attacked." I laughed. Justin chimed in and we headed into the tree.

Going into the tree I expected...Well actually, I don't know what I expected from going into a tree. But anyway, we walked down some kind of wooden stairs leading into into a lair. There were magical items everywhere and it looked like it belonged to a wizard. This must be Louis' place.

"Welcome to my crib! Well, one of them anyway." Louis grinned mischievously.

"You have a wizard lair inside a tree?" I asked.

"Underneath a tree to be exact!" Louis winked. "I also have them in nearly every part of the world you can imagine. It's cause I'm just that awesome."

"Uh. Ok." I replied. I turned to Leila. "There's something you need to know about mum and dad," she nodded at me to continue,"they're um... World famous hunters who hunt all magical beings."

Lei's eyes widened and she gasped. "It all makes sense now! The bracelets, the stories, the always being gone...! Liam, the stories they told us must have been real!"

"I know... But Zayn must have them. He's keeping them as bait to get us." I said glumly.

"Which is why you will not be trying to get them back." Niall informed us. Louis and Justin nodded in agreement.

"WHAT?!" I shouted completely enraged,"WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?! IF WE DONT SAVE THEM, WHO FREAKIN KNOWS WHAT ZAYN WILL DO TO THEM!"

"Calm down Liam! Please just listen to Niall for one-" Louis began.

"I will NOT! What's he's saying is total madness! Lei, back me up on this?" I turned to her.

Leila shifted uncomfortably,"Well Liam... I think Niall is right. I mean if we charge in there to save them, what are the odds we make it out alive?"

"We've done it once. We can do it again." I said confidently.

"Liam... Louis and Niall are the only reasons we got out of there alive, barely. You need to stop making rash decisions. Take a step back and look at the reality. We aren't ready for this. We need to prepare." Leila calmly said.

I let her words sink in. I hated to admit it, but she was absolutely right. We were no where near ready to fight.
If we tried saving our parents, we'd most likely end up dead or Zayn's prisoners. "You are right." I mumbled glumly.

"Don't worry Liam. Zayn won't hurt them until he has us." Leila said to me.

"Well, he is never going to get you guys as long as I'm here!" Niall said angrily.

"Thanks Niall. That's really sweet of you!" Leila said with a smile.

"Not to ruin this touchy-feely moment, but we might want to figure out what we are going to do soon considering you all have groups of murderous and dangerous creatures after you." Louis said.

"He's got a point." Justin commented.

"Well yeah, but that's the question. Where do we go? What do we do? I doubt this war is going to be over anytime soon." I said.

Louis looked deep in thought and was about to say something before Niall spoke up,"You could come with me! My pack of wolves will make sure nothing happens to you guys!"

"Too risky," Justin said,"They need to be in a place that the shifters would never expect."

"Well my pack is more than capable of protecting them!" Niall defended.

"I get that, but we can't risk-" Justin was cut off by Louis clearing his throat. We all turned to him expectantly.

"I have an idea." Louis simply said.
