Sorry it's been so long, I've been super busy. I love you guys, enjoy!
•---Past Louis---•
I sat up and tiptoed upstairs. I wasn't quite ready to hear about the wonderful wizarding world from my parents. Nor was I ready to hear about some secret magical school they planned to ship me off too.
Actually, going to Hogwarts wouldn't be all that bad...
I shook the thought from my mind and went into the bathroom and splashed cold water on my face. I glanced up at my reflection in the mirror and realized how different the boy staring back at me looked in comparison to this morning.
He looked old. Torn. Like he was carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. Like he had lost too much.
He still did look pretty handsome though...
I shook my head again and walked out of the bathroom but paused before continuing down the stairs.
"I can't believe it Jessie... Why would Zayn do such a thing? He's next in line for the thrown... His ceremony is tomorrow. We were invited to it too..." My moms voice is shaking as she says this.
"I know. I was too, but it's far too dangerous to go now."
"We can't turn down an invitation. It would look very suspicious. Also, Jessie, there's a chance she's there..."
I knew exactly who " she" was. Cami. My heart pounded excitedly and my mind started to form a plan. A stupid, reckless, incredibly dangerous, utterly stupid plan, but I would go through with it none the less. It was my only shot at saving her. I bit my lip, knowing I had to keep it secret from my parents. Unfortunately I also knew I needed help, and the only person who could help me besides my parents would be him. I'd have to trust the person who has betrayed me my whole entire life. Kept my true identity secret from me. Possibly murdered innocent students when he was "undercover" as one of Joey's goons.
I stomped loudly down the stairs so they would know I was coming. I glanced up to see my mother and Jessie sitting at the table. My dad was no where in sight. Shocker.
My mom stood up immediantley. "Good morning Honey, are you hungry? Do you want French Toast? Eggs and Bacon? Or maybe some Pan-"
I crossed my arms and leaned against the wall. "Cut the crap mom. I want you to tell me everything. No more secrets, no more lies."
My moms eyes glazed over and she swallowed guiltily, but nodded. "You might want to sit down."
After a minute it became apparant that I wasnt going to sit so she took in a deep breath and began to talk. "Louis honey, there are things you don't know about the world. Many things that are kept from regular people."
Unable to resist the temptation, I muttered out, "Don't you mean Muggles Lily?"
"What?" My mom said, clearly dumbfounded. Jessie snorted and rolled his eyes.
"It was a Harry Potter reference Johannah. Louis is just making one of his usual dumb jokes." Jessie explained.
"Excuse you, I happen to think my jokes are extremely funny, thank you very much. You better watch out Jessie. I'm only just learning about my powers... Don't make me turn you into a rat..." I teased.
"Are you two done yet?" My mother said impatiently.
"Yes Lily, we are done." I said with the half grin/smirk I was so famous for. Jessie snorted again and tried to cover it with a cough.
My mom sighed. "To answer your question, no we do not call anyone a muggle. Where was I? Ah, secrets. The world isn't what it appears to be Hun. You have only seen parts of the true nature of this world. Shapeshifters and Wizards you've seen already. But there are also Vampires, Werewolves, Merpeople, and so many more magical beings that exist in our world."
