Hey guys :) so i attatched a picture of Leila and Bella. It would have been them when they were out on a patrol at the old camp.
Hope you're enjoying these chapters about Louis's Past :)
•---Past Louis---•
Kill you.
The words rang through my head, but I couldn't comprehend them. One thing came into my mind, one thing that couldn't be lost.
Cami.
"But you-you like Cami, you don't have to kill-to kill her..." I stuttered out.
Joey threw back his head and laughed. "Like her? Oh Louis, she's just a mere mortal. She'd be useful for a week at most."
I looked over at Cami and felt my heart drop. She looked broken. Things couldn't possibly get any worse.
As if sensing my thoughts, Joey walked up to Cami and put his hand on the back of her chair. "However, lucky for you my dear, I've decided to keep you for now. I'll kill you in a week or so, after I've had my fun. It will be so much more amusing, you see, to turn you in front of him." Joey gestured to me. "So you live for now, until I get bored of you." Joey's hungry eyes bore down on her and I had never felt more angry in my life. I wanted so desperately to do something, anything.
"So now, my dear sweet Cami, it's time to turn you into one of us."
Cami lifted her head and glared at him with full force. "I will never, EVER, become one of you. You're a monster!" She spat at him.
I had never seen someone look so utterly furious until that moment.
Joey looked ready to kill.
"YOU STUPID, IGNORANT LITTLE BRAT!" Joey screamed and smacked Cami across the face so hard that I saw blood. "YOU SHOULD BE THANKING ME FOR THIS! I'M GOING TO MAKE YOU INTO A BETTER, SMARTER, STRONGER SPECIES! DON'T YOU DARE SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT AGAIN, OR YOU'LL REGRET IT!" He hissed at her.
Blood dropped down from Cami's face and she looked dazed.
"I don't give a crap. You're a disgusting, vile being and I will never be one of you. I'll never, ever, give myself up to you." Cami said, her voice barely steady.
I watched in horror as Joey began to change into a monstrous beast with deadly claws. He slashed the rope off of Cami's hands and feet. "You are going to pay for that. No one defies me." Suddenly there were five more guys in the room, all as evil and large as Joey. They surrounded Cami and my heart stopped.
"LOUIS!" Cami screamed out.
"Cam-oh god no-please, don't do this!" I sobbed out as I struggled uselessly with the rope. I had to do something, anything.
"LOU-" Cami cut off her scream of my name with another ear splitting scream that chilled me to the bone. My heart felt ready to explode out of my chest. All I could see was crimson blood everywhere and Joey and those other five things attacking my best friend, the girl I loved.
It was all too unreal to handle.
I was going to lose the only person in the world who mattered to me.
Just as I was about to lose hope, the door swung open and all six of the monsters turned around, including Joey.
Jessie stood in the doorway. He stormed right up to Joey and all of his croons backed off, shifting back to humans, and I got my first good look at Cami.
Her eyes were closed, but she was not asleep. Her chest moved gently up and down slowly, struggling to catch a breath. An intricate pattern of claw marked snaked across her arms and up her neck. Her legs were slashed and bloody, her face bruised.
