Another World

First Meeting...Well, kind of

The first thing I saw was him.
The vampire.
The incredibly utterly completely gorgeous vampire.
How was he so perfect?
It's was totally distracting me from the fact that he had been stroking my hair and that I was laying on a bed that was half the size of the room.
And the fact that he was staring at me with wide eyes.

"Uhhhhh... H...Hi..." He stuttered out. He seemed to be almost as lost with words as I was.

I couldn't stop staring.

That's when I saw a small smirk on his face as he noticed my speechlessness.

Oh crap.

He's totally aware that I'm checking him out.

Crap crap crap crap...

"M'names Harry. And your Leila." He said with a grin. He had seemed lost for words at first, but as soon as he had seen me checking him out, he had lost all signs of being nervous.

Okay Leila, say hi back.
"Hi." I squeaked out. I felt the blood rush to my cheeks instantly.
I was blushing?!
What was happening to me?! I never get nervous.

Never.

Stupid gorgeous vampire. He's making me totally tongue tied!

"So um... I'm sorry about attacking you and making you pass out. If I had known it was you, I wouldn't of done that," he said sweetly,"I uh, well... Somehow blacked out cause of it. What were you dreaming about?"

"I wasn't dreaming. You didn't hurt me, it was a flashback. Ever since I can remember, I've had random blackouts where I see visions of the past. I wish I knew why." I don't know why I felt the need to explain all of this to him, but I am happy to say that my voice stayed steady the whole time.

Harry looked taken aback and didn't speak for a moment. He finally said,"You're really special Leila, and there's something I should tell you before we say anything else..." He looked up at me with pure love in his eyes,"Your my soulmate."

Sometimes I think Liam is a little too confident. Don't get me wrong, he's super smart, brave, good looki-

Wait what? I didn't say anything.
It's not like he'd ever like me anyway. I'm just a typical "damsel in distress."
It's that vampire, the one that took us... When he attacked me I lost all confidence in my fighting.

Anyways, Liam can be too sure of something, so sure that he just doesn't even think of another way.

Like right now. He's so positive that Leila will save us that he refuses to even come up with a back up plan.

Let's just hope he's right...

Five months.
That's how long it's been.
I haven't been able to find them for five months.
Infuriated, I sent the map and all the other things on the desk flying across the room with a simple shove of my hand.
This didn't make any sense.
How was it possible that with all of these people searching, plus this magic map, plus my superior intellect, we still couldn't find the girl and her brother?

I was getting very impatient.

Alright Leila, you want to play this game?
You think you can hide from me?

Not for long.
No one hides from me.

I'll just pay a visit to an old friend.

It's finally the day!
My favorite day of the week!
I get to visit the camp and see her.
Leila.

Ever since Louis had come up with the idea of the human camp as a safe place, I had tried to visit every week.

I typically had, even though I'd much rather be there every day.

Unfortunately I had a pack of wolves to run so I couldn't.

Anyway, the day I got to visit Leila was always my favorite day because... Even though she might not know it...

I love her.

Ever since we first met I have. Something about her is so different and just utterly amazing.

But why even bother? There's no way she'd ever like me back...

Well, actually the last time I was there...

*last week, the week before Leila and the others were taken to Harry's palace(which Niall doesn't know yet btw)*

"Leila!" I called as I walked through the front gate.

Leila whirled around and ran up to me with a huge smile on her face as she threw her arms around me. "Niall! I missed you so much. Everything is better with you here...

"NIALL! Watch out!" I heard someone yell.

Huh? What am I- AGHHHH!

I came to a halting stop and realized I had almost run into a tree. I morphed back into a human and panted as I whirled around. "Who's there?" I called. I always came to the camp alone or with Louis because no one else could be trusted. A kid about maybe twelve years old with dark hair came running up. I had never seen him before.

"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you but you looked really distracted and I didn't want you to get hurt mate. My names Bradley. Bradley Steven Perry. I go to the human camp as of about four days ago. The day after the vampires attacked is when I got here..." He looked down sadly.

"How do you know who I am? And WHAT? Vampires?! Is everyone okay?!" I questioned.

"I know who you are because everyone's been talking about how you'd be coming her to see your friends today but... Well... The king of the vampires took Leila, Liam, Josh, and Bella. That's what I was told cause I was on the run and the people here were a total mess cause I guess Liam and Leila were kinda the big-wigs here? Oh dude you look devestated-I-I'm really sorry." Bradley told me.

The king of the vampires.

Harry.

Oh crap.

The guy Liam and I pissed off about four years ago.
Has Leila.
And Liam.

Two people who are very important to me.

Liam's like a brother to me now, and Leila... Oh man...

"Hello?! Niall?! Are you okay?" I heard Bradley's voice and realized I had fallen to the ground and was shaking.

"No, and I won't be until I get them back. I'm going to rescue them."
