•---Past Liam---•
"NIALL! NIAAAALL! WHERE ARE YOU?" I shouted into the darkness. He hadn't responded the past few times I'd shouted out and I couldn't see a thing. I thought of taking my flashlight out, but that would give away my position to the vampires even more than I already had, though they did have ten times more powerful senses than humans so they'd find me anyway...
Alright.
Here goes nothing...
I lit the room up with my flashlight only to see that it was deserted. Well that's just GREAT. Not only did I get locked in a bloodsucking demon filled castle by pissing off the stupid king, I also lost my werewolf friend.
I had no clue as to why they would take him but leave me... Okay Liam, now what?
Aaaand now I'm talking to myself.
Guess who's losing their mind...
LIAM. FOCUS.
If you were a evil bloodsucking king where would you take a giant dog?
To the vet. Haha good one Liam. Just kidding. I CAN NOT FOCUS RIGHT NOW WHAT IS HAPPENING.
THE DUNGEON!
Yeah, that sounded reasonable. I'd check there first. I shone my flashlight around the room looking for a staircase that led down. I finally saw one, but it looked super dark going down. Well, here goes nothing...
----------------------------------------------
These. Stairs. Never. End.
It's been at least an hour, and I'm still walking down. The stairs are the kind that spiral down really tight, like only single file in a line one person at a time tight. I can't even spread my arms out. Ugh. If this isn't the dungeon, I'm screwed. We were supposed to leave hours ago for my sister and Justin... I'm so worried about Lei. I've never been without her this long. If she's gotten hurt... I will die. My whole life my only goal has been to keep her safe. She's my little sister. When she was born, I remember how happy I was. My dad had pulled me aside and I still remember what he told me.
"You have a sister now. You must always make sure you keep her safe. You are her protector. She will need you more than you realize now..."
I wonder if my dad knew that Lei was important in the war. Well, he had hid the fact that him and mum were hunters, who knows what else he hid.
Thud.
The loud noise made me freeze on the stairs. I listened intently to see where it had come from.
Thud. Thud.
It had come from below me, so I must be near a door, hopefully the door to the dungeon. I crept forward and shone my light up. There was a door! It was black. I opened it and cringed at the smell of blood. This can't be good...
I walked in and quietly closed the door behind me. Glancing around, I saw I was indeed in the dungeon. I decided to go straight. I glanced down rows and rows of cages and saw nothing but heard creepy noises. I was nearing the final row when I heard someone shout my name. I turned toward the voice and saw Niall laying in a cage. He looked weak and exhausted. I ran to him as fast as I could and grabbed the keys to unlock his cage.
"Niall! Are you okay? What happened?"
"When the lights went out, someone hit me in the head with an Iron pot. I woke up in here. I'm lucky to be alive. That iron could have killed me." Niall whimpered.
I finally found the right key and I helped him up, but he still leaned heavily on me.
"How are we going to get out of here?" I asked.
"I think we should use the teleporting thing. You have both of our backpacks right?" Niall asked.
"Good idea! Here, lean against the wall and I'll teleport us." I quickly pulled out the canister and began switching the knob. "Where to Niall?" I asked.
"Well Justin's palace was in Canada, I'd say somewhere near there." Niall responded.
"Are you sure? Lei is way too smart to stay anywhere near where Zayn found us. Is there any way to track where Justin and Lei are?"
"Yeah I'll get their sent gimme a sec." Niall inhaled the air deeply. His eyes snapped open. "London. Oh crap! NOW! HARRY IS ON HIS WAY DOWN HERE WITH AN ARMY!"
"Wait London that-"
"NOW!"Right as Niall shouted that, Harry burst into the dungeon and came running toward us, but I had already twisted the cap. I felt the air around us whoosh and I felt super dizzy. I squeezed my eyes shut because it was all too much. The whooshing stopped and I opened one eye and saw Big Ben.
"Niall... We are in London."
----------------------------------------------
Niall had still been very weak so I took him to diner nearby for rest and food. Food always seemed to make him feel better. The diner had a retro fifties theme and the interior was covered in album artwork and things from the fifties. We sat down and looked over the menu then ordered. I'd discovered another magical item that made any amount of money be discarded out of it for you. It was going to be very useful.
"How you feeling?" I asked Niall as he devoured his plate of food.
"ERM FEERING GRETY!"
"Why don't you stuff a little more food in your mouth then talk?" I said as I rolled my eyes. Niall blushed furiously and chewed for awhile before finally responding.
"I said I'm feeling great. Also, I know exactly where Lei and Justin are."
"WHAT?!" I screamed. Everyone in the diner turned and stared at me. I looked down at my food and hid my face in my arms. "Why didn't you mention it sooner?" I hissed.
"Because I wasn't sure until now. They're actually with a friend of mine. His name is Louis!"
"Louis...The wizard huh? The weird bloke with the carrot robe?" I questioned.
"You've met him?" Niall asked surprised.
"Yeah, he saved me and Lei back at the palace."
"Okay well let's pay then we will teleport-"
"URGHABLERG! You mean drive!" I hissed. People were still staring and listening intently to every word we said. I prayed Niall would notice and not mention anything else that had to do with us being on the run.
Luckily, he realized and nodded. The waitess came and we paid. We walked outside and down into a deserted alleyway and I pulled out the canister.
"CRAP!" I cried frustrated. The canister said we still had thirty minutes before it would be able to teleport two people.
"Well we might as well try another magical item while we are waiting. I could use new clothes." Niall said.
I gave him the mini-box and he began messing with it. It had four windows- one for shirts and jackets, one for bottoms, one for shoes, and one for accessories. The windows let you pick whatever you wanted then press the button and you would then be wearing it. Pretty sweet. Niall picked a shirt that said "crazy mofo" on it and blue jeans with comfy shoes. I picked a simple t-shirt, jeans, and hiking boots. I looked at the canister again, which was finally ready.
"Alright," I handed it to Niall,"Where to?"
"Doncaster."
