"Simple invisibility spell." He chuckled. "Now, get out of here while you can!"

"But-"

"No buts. Hehe, i said butts. We will meet again. I promise. Good luck! Go down the side hallway. Not the main one. Oh and remember this- Your both capable of more than you think. And Leila, you have a long, hard life ahead of you."

I was just about to say something but Liam grabbed my hand and we raced down the hall. "WAIT!" I cried, "What kind of life?"

He just winked and waved. "We will meet again!"

•---Past Leila---•

"C'mon Liam! Run faster!" I cried. Zayn's palace was still in sight. We'd managed to get out of there, thanks to Louis advice, but we were still not far enough away.

"Leila I'm trying! I'm not as fast as you!" He panted. True. Where he lacked in speed I excelled. He was stronger than me though. I stopped.

"Liam... Those are..." I looked down, horrified.

"Leila? What is I-" he looked down and saw it too.

Werewolf Tracks.

"HOOOOOOOOWL!" I heard nearby.

"Liam!" I gasped. A blond colored werewolf was heading toward us. Behind him I saw a variety of different colored wolves. The blond one that was clearly the leader had these beautiful bright blue eyes. Liam grabbed me and pushed me behind him. We had no weapons, we were defenseless. Just as we thought they would pounce, the wolf leader morphed into human form. I gasped at the horror of it. It was so gross, almost as bad as the shifters.

The human that stood before us had blond hair that was brushed up and sparkling blue eyes. They were so mesmerizing. He was medium height. "Top of the morning! I'm Niall lads. You look a little young to be traveling alone." He had an adorable Irish accent. His eyes then traveled to the castle behind us and he frowned.

"Your a werewolf." Liam said blankly.

"Uh obviously." Niall rolled his eyes. "Not very bright this one, is he?" He winked at me.

I smiled and said, "I got the brains and the speed." I felt like I could trust him. I had no idea why, I mean I'd just met him, but I knew he wasn't a bad guy.

Niall laughed and winked at me again. "I like you! What's your name? Would it by any chance be Leila?" He said with a huge grin.

I gasped, "How'd you know?!"

"My mate Louis told me. He figured you'd need my help. Boys, get outta wolf form, don't be rude now!" He said to his pack. They all began to morph and I gripped Liam's arm tightly. About twenty men stood around him, and maybe five girls. "Now," Niall chuckled,"We best get you home! Uh, which way is it?"

"Uh, Mr.Niall-"

"Please! Call me just Niall."

"Er-Niall. You see the thing is that our parents-"

"Are waiting at home for us!" Liam cut me off,"So we better hurry! Let's go." I gave Liam a confused look, which he ignored. We set off with the wolves walking behind us. A few of them morphed back to wolves as soon as we had set off, some remained human, Niall being one of them of course. I looked around at the densely packed forest. There were huge redwoods everywhere. How in the world were we going to find our way home? Liam then grabbed my hand and yanked me the opposite way I was headed.

"Hey!" I objected,"I was pretty much mostly kinda sure that was the right way!"

Liam rolled his eyes before stating,"Lei, I know where we're going. Don't worry. On my trips with dad we came this far before he freaked out and we turned around. If we'd went the way you think is right, we'd end up back at the castle."

"Oh." I replied. Normally I could tell where I was at all times, but I guess everything that had happened in the past day left me too distracted. Niall was chuckling behind us.

"So what'd his royal highness Zayn want with you gorgeous?" Niall smiled at me.

I blushed like crazy and was about to respond before Liam stopped, turned around, and glared at Niall,"Watch what you say to my sister. Ill hurt you."

"Woah calm down lad! I was just stating the obvious." He winked at me.

Just as Liam was about to yell more I cut in and said,"Liam, calm down please. He's just being sweet." I grinned at Niall. "Oh and Niall... I honestly have no idea. Neither of us do. He mentioned us being threats but... Do you have any idea?" I questioned.

Niall eyes had widened, and he nervously said,"Uh not a clue. Heh." I was going to question him further but Liam cried "Lei! Look!"

"Home!" Liam and I cried in sync. But our home was destroyed almost completely. I burst into tears and Liam wrapped his arms around me. He looked close to tears too.

"Oh no! I'm so sorry. I should've know it wasn't a good idea to being you here..." Niall trailed off sadly. He hugged us both. "Let's see what's left in the house then I'll take you guys somewhere safe."

I sniffed and dried my tears. I was going to stay strong. What choice did I have? Our home was gone. That's all there was to it. And as for our parents... I didn't even want to think about that. I shook my head and we started searching the remains of our home. The wood was scattered to bits and it smelled strongly of smoke and a black dust swirled everywhere. I had the urge to cough everywhere I went. While I was digging through, I heard Liam say "Lei! Look what I found!" He came running over holding our bracelets.

"They're perfect!" I cried in surprise as I put mine on. "How are they not burned up?"

"They must have more magical properties than we know!" He said.

"Woah! Sweet bracelets." Niall grinned. He had many things in his arms. "So I found some books, this sword, a bow and a quiver of arrows, and this chest that I can't get open..."

"MY BOW! MY SWORD!" Me and Liam cried in sync. Mom and Dad really had made these indestructible. Sweet!

"That's all we could savage... I'm sorry." Niall said glumly,"There is one thing you might want to know before I take you to the safe place..."
We looked at him expectantly.

"Your parents are alive."
