Caleb

I can't believe those words rolled out my mouth. I'm never going to ask heather out, but I had to talk to her and clear things with Jodi. I wrote that song for her, for a reason and it can't just be put into waste.

After they left the club I followed behind them. Slowly walking past them as they stopped for ice cream at that convinience store.

H: Caleb!

C: Heather. We need to talk.

V: Uh. Excuse me freshmen. Youre not taking heather to the dance if that's what you want.

H: What?! Valerie

C: No! I just--

V: (holds hand up at Caleb) save it. (Looks at heather) I'm tired heather. Lets go to bed.

Jodi

Jared offered to buy us all ice cream after the little situation we had back there.

Of course I saw Caleb walk past us and of course I wanted to invite him over... but it still hurt to be near him. Even seeing him prickles my eyes.

Jared had become a big brother to us and seeing him and Corki kissing and almost making out is getting less gross by the time we spend with each other. Not sure with Sun hi... I think she's still getting used to it.

S: Who knew that Corki would be the first one to get a kiss among us three

J: You're lucky Corki.

Corki looks at me reassuringly then grabs my hand and wraps it in hers.

Co: I'm really sorry jodi.

J: Its alright. This ice cream totally made up for the fact that you're brother was a secret jerk.

S: But how are we going to be in a band together???

J: I'll be fine Sun hi. Just pretend nothing happened.

S: But I can't. You know how good I am with holding grudges.

J: Sun hi. I'm fine.

Corki and Jared looked at me like "Mhmmmm sure you are" it was kinda creepy to see them turn into each other.

J: I'll be fine.

Co: Future tense. So youre not fine. You'll be fine but not as of the moment.

J: Okay Corki. Stop with the logical explanations. I think they all get it.

We all went back to the dorm a little bit later than we intended. I bet he's already in his room texting Heather.

Well... I was wrong. We all got greeted by Valerie as we approached our room since hers was right across ours.
V: Move it!

Ja: Now Valerie. That's no way to talk to your fellow school mates

V: Yeah yeah. Whatever Jared. I can't believe I used to date you. Ugh!

S: Where's heather?

V: With her boyfriend. (Yells: Hurry up Heather)

Boyfriend? It was Caleb. She took his hands and kissed him on the cheeks and he didn't do anything. So it is true.

H: I'll see you tomorrow babe.

He turns around and sees me. Meanwhile heather was already nearing us, going to Valerie. She hugged me tight and thanked me for today.

C: Jodi. I can explain.

I smile at him trying to hold in the tears that are coming back.

J: I'm happy for you. (Smile weakly)

Oh no. The tears, they're coming.

J: I gotta go.

Quickly I run in our room. Luckily it was just a few steps away from where we were.

Its time to move on Jodi. He already loves someone else.
