Caleb

Tomorrow was the day we would graduate. Me and Jodi would have a life together with our kid and I'd be in college... Seems easy right?

My parents and Jodi's parents already know the news. None of them said any words of negativity, everyone was supportive of us, but that's probably because they don't want Louriza to stress out.

"Caleb?" Jodi tapped my shoulder, and I turned around to look at her but all my eyes could see was her big belly.

No. It wasn't showing yet but I felt like my brain was already making it bigger than it was. I was becoming paranoid. "Are you okay?" She asks, noticing my stare at her belly so she sits down beside me on my bed.

"Y-yeah. I am. You should rest"

She smiles at me "I'm fine" she takes my hands and wrapped it around her waist and laid us down the bed. "You don't seem fine. Please tell me what's wrong with you"

Her face was inches from mine and our breaths were mixing together, from our years together, I know she wants to kiss me and tell me that everything is alright.

"Lou. I-" Don't want to be a father yet. It was about to come out my mouth. It's easier to say now than later. Come on Caleb.

"Yes?" But when I look into her brown eyes all I could think about is how amazing it would be to lay down with her every night "I'm... tired. We need to be prepared for tomorrow."

"Yeah. Okay" She lifted herself up just when Linc and Sun hi came in together.

Sun hi's eyes instantly widened as she pulled Jodi away from my bed and we both just chuckled at her. "No. No. No. We do not need twins!"

"Sun hi. I don't think it works that way" Linc joined us when we burst out laughing at Sun hi's ignorance. "Hmph" she pulled Jodi out and gave me one last warning look "You can wait for it Davis! We graduate tomorrow. You and Jodi can get on each other as much as you want after that. I just need these Jaleb baby to be cute and a girl."

Linc and Jodi were still smiling when they waved goodbye. I slumped back to bed after Linc closed the door behind him thinking how I should have told her.
