"I'm really sorry Corki. I can't help thinking that me and my gorgeous chin distracted you this morning. So its my fault"

I still couldnt believe him. I mean yes his chin may have distracted me but there is no way that I could have gotten my solutions wrong. That simply cannot be.

"Sorry Jared. I gotta go"

Leaving Jared behind was not how I wanted it to be. When he came in I did kinda expect us to talk, get to know each other then hit it off but it just goes to show how unexpected life truly is.

"Corki!!! Wait"

My legs ran as fast as they could without even looking at who I bumped into and who I passed but I did recognize Sun hi's voice calling me. I was still running, until I reached Ms. Bates room.

Of course I was out of breath but I did not let it show.

Co: Ms. Bates..... I.... uh.... (breathing heavily)

Ms. B: Um... Corki dear... do you need to rest? You look a little tired. Did you run?

Oh great Corki. So much for not letting her notice.

Co: Yes. I did. It's just that Jared.

Ms. B: Oh yes. What about him?

Co: He.... he said.... I got a... B.

Ms. B: Well Ms. Chang unfortunately he is right.

Co: No. That's not right. I got all of them right.

Ms. B: Oh Corki. Don't worry. You didnt fail and you did get all the answers right.

Co: What??

Ms. B: All your answers were right

Co: Then why do I have a B? Is this a mistake? Did you let Jared check the papers? He might have gotten something wrong.

Ms. B: Yes. I did but I rechecked your paper twice. You did not follow instructions. I said put an X on the letter, not shade it.

Co: What? No. I--

She gave me my test paper and she was right. I shaded it. Oh no. This is what happens when you don't follow instructions. My dad will kill me. Maybe not for real but mentally he will.

Co: Oh no. My dad.

Ring ring.

Of course he knew. Of course now he calls.

Co: Please Ms. Bates. I need that make up test per one semester. Can I take another one?

Ms. B: Well.... You are my best student so okay. I'll give you a make -up test. But it won't be easy.

Co: I can do it.

Ms. B: Oh and Corki please do be careful with Jared. It would be a shame if you would fall for his act as well.... Um... and if you failed again

I didn't know what she meant but I have no time for it so I just nod and leave.

Sun hi

When me and Jodi saw Corki run off we knew something was wrong.

So we had to catch up with her and know what was wrong.

"Sun hi. I can't hear anything"

"Well we can't go near the room. She'll see us"

I have now concluded that we make a better team than me and Corki since we argue less.

"Shh. She's coming out"

None of us knew who she was talking to or what she was talking about since she was speaking in Chinese. So I guess it was her father. This must be something serious since she was almost crying.

"Yes father" She was done and her eyes looked straight at us. Oh no. We've been caught. Guess were not as good as I thought.

I'm updating 2 today. :)

I'm building up the drama. So maybe Jaleb will be in the next chapter. Maybe not hahaha.
