Chapter 40

Jodi

As our eyes cast down, out the window, Caleb and Darmala, who have become bestfriends since Band Blast, were downstairs bringing something with them. Caleb had a boquet of flowers in his hands while Darmala had a guitar.

"Jodi oh Jodi, won't you come down from your tower to greet a dashing young man like me?" I rolled my eyes as I took amusement in his Caleb-ness, it was his British accent that knocked the socks off our feet though, he was pretty terrible at it.

His amusing speech made me instantly roll down the stairs with an excited Sun hi and a mopey Corki right behind me.

Caleb started singing when I came into view. His eyes fixed on me while he was carrying a familiar tune with his vocals.

They say...

He starts singing the first song he wrote for me. The song that almost broke us... and the song that made us Jaleb.

You know when it's true but what I'm feeling its just all so brand new.

He holds my hand and we start swaying with every tune while I was holding the bouquet with the other hand.

People were starting to flood out their rooms to see what was going on.

Without me thinking about you and your sweet smile...

He changes the last verse and I was melting into his arms and without even thinking about the consequences, I kissed him. Everyone was looking at us, cheering us on, even Corki seemed to seem happy with what she was seeing.

"Happy 3rd anniversary love" says Caleb when they pulled away after, smiling.

They hugged and everyone cheered them on but the happy moment was quickly interrupted by a horn that was heard around the area. "Jodi Mappa and Caleb Davis! In my office now!"

Most of the students expected Ms. Diona to reveal herself but it was Mr. Stark, the boys dorm adviser.

Jodi and Caleb followed through with his request since they never seen him this angry.

I had no regrets with my actions, I gave the girl I love a surprise she would never forget and I kissed her under the dawn of the sun but Mr. Stark is making me afraid of him.

"Um... Mr. Stark?" Jodi starts after a few minutes of seeing him pacing back and forth "Are you okay?"

He gave us both a glare but softened after a while and slumped down on a chair. "Ughh! I'm sorry children."

Something was obviously wrong with him and since we were closest to him, comforting him was a duty. "Are you okay?" I asked him.

"I'm afraid I have to expel you both" he said remorsefully. Jodi and I, still dumfounded, stood there with our mouths open before we even had the breath to say "What?!"

"Ms. Diona.... that stunt out there. She saw it and.. I'm sorry"

Okay now I kinda regret it a little bit. We can't get expelled for this! "Mr. Stark. Please. help us out!"

"Mr. Stark! you can't expell them!" Says Corki who burst in the door with Sun hi and Darmala right behind her. Who knew Sun hi could actually influence her into doing stuff beyond the rules and look confident doing it too.

"Please Mr. S. This is our last year together and we cant have a reunion concert without them. Mr. Cannon would never allow us to play without them finishing school."

"I'm sorry. but there's nothing I can do. Ms. Diona is the one who calls the shots here. I just relay them." He opens the door and leaves us in his office.

Jodi suddenly faints and Sun hi screams.

I am so sorry >.< I slept in while writing the last parts hahaha. But its better late then never right? hahaha so anyway... hiii. This is a short update but I will be updating some chapters today and tomorrow :)
