Finding A Talent

As morning came Lukas and Mathias ran outside and got Tino's chair and brought inside before he woke up. Miss Cooper saw them and let them wake up Gunnar and Tino. They went in and woke them up with screaming their names. They both jolted and Gunnar stood up beside the bed out of reflect, he stood there for a moment before he looked over at Tino, his hair mangled and stuck to his forehead. His clothes were old and his face showed that he was still haft asleep, the only thing keeping him up were his arms which by the looks of it, were about to give way from under him and send his face back into his pillow. Mathias chuckled and walked over to him, he picked him up as if Tino was nothing more than a little brother to him and sat him up on the bed, his feet hanging over the side. 

Come on let's get you ready for school." Mathias said as Tino only yawned, the three boys looked at each other and knew that they needed to work together to get him ready because he would have fallen asleep if he did it on his own. Mathias brought a confused and dazed Tino into the bathroom where Lukas and Gunnar sprayed him with water. He screamed at the sudden coldness and he was now fully awake. He looked at them and then shooed them out, he was capable of doing his morning routine on his own. 

The three boys walked to the kitchen laughing at the situation, Tino had looked so peaceful until he had received a face full of ice cold water. Miss Cooper gave them a look and they sat down and didn't say another word about it. Soon Tino wheeled himself into the kitchen with a fresh set of clothes on and his faced and hair washed. He looked back to normal but his chair brought on some strange looks from Peter and Sky. 

"Why are you in a wheelchair?" Sky asked innocently as Tino gave her a surprised look that quickly melted away into a weak smile. 

"I had to use it before... But since I've been getting tired lately, I have to use it again, my back's hurt." Tino explained. 

"But you could walk perfectly fine a few days ago..." Peter said with his suspicions as he narrowed his eyes at him. 

"No he wasn't... Tino doesn't like to make people worry about him. So he was ignoring his pain, pushing his body to it's limits and then when his body had enough it stopped on him. It's that right?" Miss Cooper asked him as he gave a guilty smile to her as she tussled his hair. 

"Am I in trouble?..." He asked a little worried as his voice became smaller. She shook her head and motioned over to the table where Berwald had moved a chair away to make room for him. 

"Well that I'm not sure of, put this whole ordeal in your letter to Chase and you'll see. But I know Chase, he loves you too much plus he's to far away to do much when it comes to punishment. So I guess you're in the clear. Just take my advice and don't do it again, okay?" She stated as Tino quickly nodded, his feathered hair bouncing along with his head.

After the family had finished breakfast and put their dishes away and then Miss Cooper sent them off to school. Tino pushed himself along as Gunnar walked besides him. They were in the same class, Tino had skipped a grade and was in the same grade level as Gunnar, Berwald and Lukas. Mathias and Peter we're in a level higher than them and then Sky was two younger than them. But Berwald and Lukas we're in a different class, across the hall, they still studied the same thing but since there was so many students they had to be divided. 

As the bell rang, Gunnar stayed close to Tino as they got their things and made their way to class together. Tino went to the back of the class where the teacher's aid stayed at her desk and sat down. Gunnar took the empty desk next to him and the teacher started name call. 

"Sam?"

"Here!"

"Jack" 

"Here."
