But when they arrived at the hospital, they wouldn't tell them anything since they weren't legally his family or care takers. Chase was the only person that they knew that held that status when it came to Tino and he wasn't there with them. So because of that simple factor they told them nothing about Tino. Which caused some stress for them. They all sat in the waiting room as they had seen Tino being rushed into the emergency room and then heard an announcement over the intercom for a doctor to prep for surgery. They all sat there with their stomachs in knots over the ordeal, Gunnar sat there as his temper boiled.
The hospital buzzed with energies some happy and peaceful while others were stressful and pained. The cleanness was mixed with live and death, it made things confusing but also at the same time calming.
But in the operating room things were filled with tension and stress. They had quickly found the problem that had caused Tino to fall unconscious and stop breathing on his own. His breathing was caused by a panic attack but his strange feeling had to do with something they couldn't find but all the same he had something terribly wrong. They didn't know why he had stopped breathing or why his pain was so bad, they could find nothing to explain it.
When Tino got out of surgery they went to the waiting room and asked for his personal information which Miss Cooper didn't have. They asked how they could reach his parents and the only answer they had was that his father had gone missing in action a few days ago. With no mother to question about the matter they made a call. They managed to send word to the base that Chase had been stationed at. They hoped that the message would reach someone there and they would be able to send word to Chase if he was found alive.
The hospital kept a close eye on Tino as they waited for word from anyone who could tell them something about his history. Then there was news. About four days had pasted of Tino being in horrible pain that he could do nothing but lay there and hope for it all to stop. They got word, Chase had been found and was now aware of the change of health his son had suffered. He was able to give them everything he knew about his son and they thanked him. The hospital worked on getting his records from the adoption agency that still held them.
While on the other end of the world Chase was in a fluster. He had been injured while he went missing and was not allowed to leave the recovery tent but being the way he was he still tried to leave.
"Sir, sir! You're not suppose to be out of bed, sir. You're still very hurt." A nurse told him as he looked down at her.
"I'm fine, I'll be fine." He protested as he tried to pass her but again she stopped him. A few more nurses came to help and the commotion earned the attention of one of his superiors that had been walking by with a General.
"What's going on in here." His superior asked as he then saw that Chase was at the center of another one of his protests.
"Oh for the love of god man, sit down." He said as he walked up to him and forced Chase to sit on his bed before Chase stood up and found himself taller than the man before him.
"I said I'm fine." He said stubbornly as his superior glare at him.
"Do you even know how many times you were shot while you were out there doing god knows what. Six times, six times you were shot. You need to stay in this tent in that bed, soldier." His superior said as he sat him back down, Chase held his side as he took a quick pain breath but looked up at him with cruel eyes. Chase had one thing set in his mind and this man knew it. He let out a sigh.
"Alright, I'll bite, why do you want out of the recovery tent so bad?" He asked as Chase held up a foaled up picture, worn and torn from being in pocket for so long but it was still visible. His superior took it and looked at it, the General looking over his shoulder.
