Soon years seemed to slip by... Success and heartache hit them all again. Peter and Sky had gone back to England for their education and to live there now permanently. They still kept in touch with their bothers back in America but they needed to go back home to their own nation. They missed it, the mother who had raised them when they were infants rested there and they would be lying if they said that they didn't really care much that the country was still fixing itself up from the war. They loved their birthplace to much to just up and leave it forever. The departure was a tearful one as the set of oldest brothers realized that only four of them were left, not counting Gunnar who they didn't see as a brother anymore, only a murder...

Sky went into medical and health care, she wanted to be a nurse that helped children and young adults or even the elderly. Ever since the night of the gang war where Tino and Miss Cooper died... She wanted to save people if she could because that night she was just a kid that could do nothing for the mother she was lucky to have when her real mother died. She had to hear the news of three people she saw as family had died in such a short amount of time... It had broken her heart but she wanted to make it so that other kids didn't have to face something like that.

Her brother Peter had a similar plan when it came to his education and future career. To become an architecture and fix the broken cities of the world, starting with England and then going from there. They both had big dreams and their siblings in America wished them all the best and made sure to send them letters all throughout their long task of going to school and even afterwards.

Back in America Mathias had gotten into the law enforcement career path and after a lot of hard work both with books and wights became a police officer and high ranking detective. Although he liked working in the field much better because he felt like he was doing more to make a difference than he could behind a desk for eight hours at a time. He had come to this choice as a future at the same time as Sky had come to her choice. He had made a promise to Tino when their were all young that he work to make things better in the end and he couldn't see any other way of doing that than by protecting the city from the scum that had been the reason that Tino didn't graduate there along with them back in the day. This was how Mathias was, he was like the huntsman that would hunt the wolf down after it had eaten one to many of the town's folks.

Lukas had become a paranormal investigator with the hard work he did to reach the point where his name was well known in the field. He helped with investigations and recherche along with a few novels about his work. But even if some out there did not believe the work he did was the truth that was what happened after death. He still had his own prof of ghosts... he was convinced that what he had seen that night wasn't just a product of a tired mind. He saw the newly dead figure of a friend as he walked the hospitals hall looking for help. Lukas wished now that he had had the courage to help his friend's soul. But that night was one where fear had taken over, he now as he was older and timed had pasted that his friend's soul had found peace.

Erin had become an author and collage professor in English and writer's craft. He loved reader and had one day had taken a chance to get his own story out there into the world. He had never thought that it would have become much more than a book his family would buy because they wanted to make him feel special... But he had been wrong, oh how he had been wrong. Due to a story that he thought would never get him anything, he had been surprised with a rise to fame. People from all over the country were reading his book and asking for more. They wanted to know what happened next, due to Erin leaving it on a cliff hanger, a major one at that. His way of seeing if people were actually interested in his writing. Which they were, to this brought him a smile and he gladly sent in the remanding parts of the book into to get published. He had written enough for about three books but had deiced to just send in enough for one book. So by the time that he found out that people liked his work he had something to give them. As he began to teach he spent his spare time helping his students, speaking at schools and underprivileged kids. He also spent a great deal of his time with a pencil. He continued to write and read. He loved it and had developed a nickname from his brothers. They joked with him as they called him a book worm or things of the sort. He didn't mind and laughed with them.
