Gunnar hurried down the dark city streets in hopes of getting back him before anyone came him so that he wouldn't be in trouble for leaving Tino alone.

Tino sat in his room and had been there as he calmed down and then went out into the kitchen, he hadn't eaten much at dinner and his hunger had returned now. He looked around to try and find Gunnar to ask for his help to reach something off the high shelf but he couldn't see him around.

"Gunnar?... Gunnar are you here?" Tino asked as he wheeled around the kitchen to peer into the living room and then to look outside. He found nothing and let out a sigh as he wheeled himself up to the counter. He looked up at the towering cabinet over the counter with a bit of worry.

"Let's hope I remember how to do this..." He said to himself as he gripped the side of the counter as he tried to pull himself up. It took a few tries for him to lift himself up on the counter, he sat there for a moment and looked over to see the floor. He smiled as he then opened the cabinet and used the shelf to guide his way up. He had one hand of the shelf and the other arm stretched out to reach a can but that was when the door opened.

"Tino what the hell are you doing?!" Gunnar yelled in surprise as he jolted at the sudden outburst. He fell backwards off the counter with a yelp as the can he had in his hand fell down with him. It hit his head and Gunnar ran over to him. His wheelchair had been rolled across the room when he fell. He bent down next to him and held him in his arms. Tino held his eyes shut tightly for a moment and then opened them slowly.

"Tino, what we're thinking, you could have killed yourself doing that." Gunnar told him as his tone went from disciplinary to silence as his eyes widened at the sight of a stream of blood coming down from his scalp.

"Oh god, your head." Gunnar said stunned as Tino started to go limp in his arms, his eyes threatening to close as well.

"...You scared me... I'm sorry Gunnar, I just wanted to do something by myself for once..." Tino said as tired clouded eyes looked up at the older boy.

"Just stay awake, okay, I need you to stay awake. Just stay awake for me, okay?"Gunnar asked as he lifted him up in his arms, Tino nodded as he tried to do as Gunnar told him but by the time that he had brought him into the bathroom Gunnar saw that Tino was having a problem with that.

"Hey, hey wake up, keep talking it'll keep you awake." Gunnar told him as he put him down on the floor leaned up against the bathtub.

"...What do I talk about?..." Tino asked as he looked up at him with a puzzled face.

"I don't know... ugh, tell me a story." Gunnar said as he rummaged through the first aid kit for supplies as Tino thought for a moment. Gunnar stole a few glances every now and then to make sure that he was still awake.

"... How about little red riding hood?" Tino asked as he looked up at his friend.

"Little red what? What's that..." Gunnar asked confused a he put the kit on the ground and sat in front of Tino and brought his head closer to get a better look.

"You don't know that story? Everyone knows that one, didn't you hear it growing up..." Tino questioned as Gunnar shock his head.

"I didn't really grow up in a loving house that told stories. But tell me the story that way I know what little ridding red whatever is." Gunnar said as Tino gave a chuckle.

"Little red riding hood." He corrected as Gunnar started working on his head injury.

"Fine, go on and start telling the story." Gunnar teased as Tino smiled as started.
