"Lukas what's wrong?" Mathias asked as his brother clung to him, something he never did before, but tonight was full of surprises.

"T-Tino... Tino's ghost. I saw his ghost at the end of the hallway. He-- he looked terrible." Lukas said as he then sobbed into his brother's chest. Mathias looked down the hall over everyone's heads, his height making it easy to do so before he then looked back down at his brother.

"Lukas there's nothing there... You're seeing things, come on let's go for a walk..." Mathias said as he pulled him along. Lukas didn't seem to want to leave but he fallowed his brother anyways. The two of them walked down to the hospital cafeteria and Mathias bought them something to eat. The two had eaten a bit quickly as so they could get back to waiting for any news about their mother. They had been there for over four hours now. When they had returned a nurse came up to them.

"Excuse me, are you two with a Miss May Cooper that was brought in earlier?..." She asked her voice showing that she was shy, she didn't seem that old and looked as if she had just finished medical school.

"Yes." Lukas said as he got to his feet, his brother not far behind him. The nurse backed away a bit after taking a bit of scare from them.

"The doctor would like to speak with you, please fallow me..." She said as she then turned and led them into a little room where the doctor stood, he was in scrubs and looked just as tired as they were.

"Hello boys, you two are all of her children?" He asked as he looked them over. They both nodded.

"No, sir." Lukas told him as he looked at them.

"There's seven of us in total, we had to leave the rest of our family at the wreck center in town since we couldn't all come in the ambulance." Mathias explained.

"It's a shame that the rest of the family isn't here... I have news about your mother. Now trust me when I say we did all we could to save her but... she died on the table, we tried everything to get her heart started again but it wouldn't take." The doctor said as their eyes widened and tears filled their voices.

"No..." Lukas said as his broke with sadness.

"I truly am sorry for your loss. I'll leave you both alone, excuse me now." The doctor said as he left the room and let the brothers grieve in peace. The brothers sobbed for their mother as the doctor went back to work. Gunnar was being moved to the recovery wing and Tino's ghost had disappeared into the hospital to go somewhere new. Chase, Frank and Kenny were still out in the streets. In this time the battle was winding down. Morning would soon be here and the coast would be clear by then and they would have survived the night. But at a cost. Family and friends had pasted and faded away into the darkness that the night had brought with it.

As time passed Mathias called the wreak center and broke the terrible news, he wished he could have been there in person to comfort his brothers and sister but no one in a fit condition to travel while the city's bloodshed was happening.

The doctor let Mathias and Lukas go in and see their mother's body to say their goodbyes but they weren't alone when they went. Tino had wandered into the room and found Miss Cooper's body on the metal operating table. But then he saw her ghost sitting on another table as she watched her children say their painful goodbyes to the only mother that they had ever known. She didn't have any physical injury that could scare them if they could see her by any chance. No like him and the mess he had been caught up in.

"Miss Cooper?... " Tino asked as she looked over at him and her face lite up with surprise and pity as she brought herself to her feet and held his face in her hands.
