I wiped his tears and I held him.

"I'm sorry."

Jacques isn't afraid to cry. In front of me at least. He's a sweet guy with a heart. A huge heart and a teddy bear.

"Hey, it's alright. It's behind us."

"Nah. What I did was fucked." He dug his face into my neck and sniffed.

"It's ok, Jack. It's ok. I've forgiven you and you should too. We make mistakes."

"Yeah, you're right..." He cleaned his face and let go of me. "I'm sorry."

"Stop being sorry! You didn't do anything wrong."

He got off me and blew his nose into a tissue from the tissue box on the coffee table.

"Ok, I'm good. I ain't no bitch!"

I smiled. "Whatever! We have work tomorrow. Let's hit the sheets."

"It's 7:03. What time do we have to go to the Ritz?"

"Before eleven."

"Oh damn. Lez go!" He got up and sped walked to my room like a pregnant woman, I followed.

• 9:40 a.m •

"Jacques!!!! Wake up!! Look at the time!" I jumped out of the bed and shook him violently.

"Nah, I said no onions..." He said in his sleep.

"WAKE THE FUCK UP!!" I slapped him and he sat up with his hand raised about to hit me.

"Yo! Chill the fuck out!!!" He said angrily as he slipped out the bed.

"I would have chill if we didn't over sleep!!!" I rushed to the bathroom stripping my clothes off. I didn't care if he saw me naked or not, I'm trying to get the hell out.

"No need to be so fucking violent waking a nigga up like some shit coming from him. Lucky I ain't hit you back."

"Hit me and imma steal yo ass." I ran the water and taped my foot.

"Right." He said sarcastically trying to find his car keys. "Imma get some clothes and be back."

"Bye!!!" I hopped in the shower mumbling cuss words under my breath.

We put on our clothes and was on our way to the Ritz Carlton with the paper the lady gave us in hand. The paper said to wear what we wear on a regular basis.
