"Now that we have everything out of the way, next week we are all going to L.A and we will go from there." The woman upfront said. "If you are under the age of eighteen you need your parents signature in the paper we will give you."

He looked at me. "Yes?"
"I'm not really cool with my parents. What am I gonna do?"
"It's all good, but if something happens to you we won't be responsible for it but I'll be with you and make sure you don't get hurt."

After the talk and getting my packet of what to bring, what to expect, etc. each group went somewhere else to talk like a burger joint down the street or whatever. Six other people are in my group and we voted on going to a boardwalk twenty minutes away from the Ritz. Five of us were in Jesse's car and the other two are in another. I sat in the passenger seat.
"What y'all wanna listen to?" He asked.
"Joey bada$$!" A dude in the back said.
"Goldlink." A girl said.
"Shut the hell up. Let's listen to Kanye." A boy said.
"You Skylar?" Jesse asked.
"I really don't care. Just as long as its poppin' in this car." I said as I looked out the window.
"Alright guys. We're gonna listen to Joey first, Kanye then Goldlink."
"Why mine gotta be last?" The girl asked.
"Cuz it is. Pass the aux!" The guy that suggested Joey said.

All seven of us ended up going to a park sitting cross legged in a circle.
"Before anything. We need to introduce ourselves. I will go first." Jesse said. "My name is Jesse and I will be you guys producer. I'm 20 years old. My zodiac sign is Sagittarius."

"True. Looking for some females." Jay said.
"Food." The rest said.
"Bruh. The fuck? Come on now! Y'all need to dig a little deeper." He sucked his teeth and put the packet back down on the floor.
"I got it!!!" Ja'Miyah said.
"Yes?"
"...Some bomb ass food." She nodded her head.
"True!" I gave her a high five.
"The visuals! All about the scenery!" Jacqueline said.
"Ugh! Y'all dumb as fuck! We of course are looking forward to seeing celebrities!!!" Jamal said. "Beyoncé fine ass somewhere waiting for my arrival."
We laughed.
"I'm glad we are all getting along but seriously? Food, boyfriends, girlfriends and Beyoncé? It's not too late for me to kick y'all out."
"No need to threaten us! We have our missions and mine is to find some fine dark mamas!" Alex chuckled and licked his lips. "Melanin is my life! OOO! With that natural hair! Lord have mercy! Bless em!!!"
