We flew all the way to New York for the VMA's and had everyone with us. Jesse let me stay in Solar Eclipse Records and life's been good! One of my shows sold out and I'm about to do a show at Camp FLOG GNAW in November so I'm very excited!

"AND THE BEST NEW ARTIST IS..." Our host opened the envelope.
The nominees were four other people from different labels and myself. I didn't want to come to the VMA's but Jacques forced me and said I was nominated so here I am with a resting bitch face. I only came to New York for the Visuals to be honest and I wanted to hang out with the Pro's tonight. Everybody was supposed to go to the awards but me but Jacques and Alex convinced me to come. I'm here to see Bryson Tiller and that's it!
"SKYLAR FRANSON!!!!" Everyone clapped and one of my songs played as Jacques held his hand out for me. He walked on stage with me while holding my hand. I did not expect this at all.

The host handed me my award and I stood behind the podium. Everybody from Solar Eclipse stood up yelling.
Jamal stood on his chair. "THATS MY GIRL!! GET EM SKYLAR!!! THATS MY BABYGIRL!!!! SLAY!!! NO IM NOT SITTING DOWN! THIS MY BOO NIGGA!!!!!"
Jacqueline and Ja'Miya stood on their chair too. "LET EM KNOW HONEY!!!"
I teared up and motioned everyone to the stage. Everyone in my group ran to the stage and stood behind me.
"I know I only have a little bit of time but I want to thank my fans and my family, the people that voted for me, I didn't expect this at all! Solar Eclipse Records is my family and this is our award! Thank you so much!" I waved to the crowed and left with my squad and we sat backstage.
Jacques kissed my cheek. "I'm so proud of you! This is only the beginning!"
Jacqueline gave me a tight hug and wiped my tears. "You did it boo!!!"
