"You look tensed?" Chintu bhaiya asked me.
"No, I am not tensed." I said and scoffed. I was tensed to be honest. My head was so messed up thinking of different scenarios of my upcoming meeting with Rutt. And since Malvika had not called me until now was only adding to my worry.
"Kuch toh hai? Is it about some girl?" he said, sensing my anxiety.
"Nahi bhaiya." I forced a smile.
"Do peg maar aur bhul ja." Someone in the group said.
Everybody around gave out a chuckle.
Chintu bhaiya pushed a peg towards me and said petting my back. "Yeh le!"
Chintu bhaiya pakka meri lagwaenge.
"Soch kya raha hai. Pour it down...come on...fast." Chintu bhaiya said.
I had no other option but to obey.

"What took you so long?" Malvika said, firing dagger at me with her eyes. She was waiting for me outside the bride's room.
"Sorry, I was caught up with something," I explained the reason for the delay.
"I can tell," she said, sniffing. "You needed alcohol courage to talk to Rutt. Don't you?"
I lowered my head. She wouldn't have believed me even if I tried to explain myself.
Nobody believes a drunken person.
"Shall we go in?" I asked.
"No...you wait over her." She said with hand motion. "I'll go in first and then I am gonna call you inside."
"Okay." I said agreeing to her.
I waited outside as we went in. She came running out a few moments later with a letter in her hand. She looked worried sick. "What happened?" I asked her as many questions spouted in my head.
She passed me the letter and held her head in her hand. I glanced back at the letter in hand. I couldn't believe my eyes as I read it on. How could she run away from her own wedding? Why would she do that?
Questions were many but the question of the hour was where we could find her?
"Do you have any idea about this?" I asked her. She was on the verge of breaking down. She simply shook her head suggesting she was not aware of it.
"Try her phone...try to reach to her." I suggested.
Malivika took her phone and dialed her number.
"She is not picking her phone."
"You keep dialing. I will look around for her meanwhile."

The room looked perfect. I looked around the store room once again. No doubt it was the best place to keep unconscious Arjun until the wedding ends. I called Dinesh and gave him green signal. As I walk out of there I saw a lost blonde on the way. She looked dead drop gorgeous in an orange sari and matching jewelry.
