Ch 61: love is in the forest pt 1

Gai looked at lee's slouched form in confusion. What's up with him? He passed the written test shouldn't he be roaring with youth right now? Gai was curious so he took a page out of his rival's ich icha book and decided to eaves drop on his genin. He knew it wasn't youthful but he had to find out why lee was suddenly moping around.

"Lee we'll find her" Tenten assured resting a hand on his shoulder in an effort to comfort him.

"Tenten this forest is so big....we'll never be able to find my aura filled angel in that" Lee said.

Gai's mouth dropped. Lee had a crush on a girl? This was the most youthful day he had ever had! But if he was crushing on the girl why was lee so unhappy about it?

"Lee relax. Her chakra's pink. She won't be easy for me to miss" Neji said making Lee's head snap up.

"It is?" He asked.

"Yes just like yours has wisps of youthful green running through your chakra stream. It's a very distinct color and Sasuke is bound to find her on the slim chance i don't." Neji assured.

Lee grinned and jumped up. A youthful spring in his step. "You are both right. Moping will get me nowhere. I will use the full power of youth to find my Aura Angel" lee said putting his fist into his open palm.

"That's more like it" Neji commented.

Gai's head turned to team 7 where they stood a few feet away from his team.
Gai's bushy eyebrows furrowed. That did not look like good team symmetry down there.

"Sasuke. Do. Not. Move. From. That. Spot." Naruto said with a glare using his full hokage tone.

"I lied. Naruto i can not wait another 45 minutes their already circling her!" Sasuke snapped.

"She's survived worse Sasuke." Sakura said. Her and Naruto knew they were being a bit cold and heartless but they had to wait till they were out of gai's line of sight. It was the only way.

"They going to kill her" Sasuke hissed.

"No they're just going to beat her up and lower her self esteem. She'll survive. I don't like bullies either Sasuke. And i want them dead too but we can not start the next shinobi war. It's one of the things we've been trying to prevent since we got here" Sakura said.

Sasuke grunted thoroughly annoyed and pissed off. Naruto put his hand over Sasuke's eyes."don't even think about it" Naruto warned.

"God damnit.." Sasuke muttered as naruto used his chakra to put a blind fold over his eyes. He couldn't see a thing now or use his handy dandy ameterasu.

Gai blinked and shook his head. It was his rivals team after all. He turned his attention to team 10 who had a dispute of their own going on.

"Fuck it" shika said.

"Hell no. Stick to the plan" ino countered

"Do we have to do this again? Why did these chunin exams become so complex all of a sudden? Should we even be worrying? Team 7 has this covered. Like they always do. Lets just travel through the forest knocl some power challenged people around then force all our parents to tale us out to barbeque together" Choji said calmly.

"I hate waiting it's such a drag" shika said plopping down on the ground in defeat. This sucked like long distance relationships.

"It'll be worth the wait though" Temari said from her spot behind him as they sat back to back.

"It better be. Damn they actually blindfolded Sasuke" Kankuro said mouth dropping.

"Just a half hour" Gaara said. The entire leaf legion was on full restraint and they couldn't

-Time skip of agony later-

"Alright! Now remeber if you don't make it to the tower in 5 days then you lose. Do not open your scrolls until you get to the tower! And begin! With the full power of youth!!" Gai yelled.

All the teams disappeared into the forest. It was time.

I'm sorry it's so short guys but i promise i will make it up to you all next chapter! Please don't be to mad? It just makes more sense to split the chapter up like this in the long run. I'll update again as soon as i can. It might be today and it might be tomorrow i'm honestly not sure...but it will be up extremely soon! I promise! I love you all and don't forget to comment!
