Chapter 18. Who The Woman Was

(Y/n) POV

I woke up, this time to my own room. I was quite happy about that. It was much better than waking up in a random room a kidnapper had thrown me in. I got up and went out onto the deck. I saw Luffy laughing through a mouthful of food, while next to him, was Ace, who was asleep, face into his food.

I giggled and Luffy looked up at me.

He smiled. "(Y/n)! Your awake!" He swallowed his food and ran up and hugged me.

"Hi Luffy!" I kissed his cheek.

He buried his face into my shoulder.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"I missed you." He said softly.

"I was only taking a nap, you could've come and lay with me if you really wanted to." I said sort of confused.

"I know but you were taken from me, and then when you got back I didn't get to hold you again." He looked at me seriously. "I won't let you be taken ever again. I promise."

"Luffy, it wasn't your fault. You didn't let me be taken.." I ran my fingers through his soft black hair.

He shook his head. "I'm not a good boyfriend (Y/n). I couldn't even stop you from being kidnapped."

I kissed the top of his head. "You couldn't have stopped it. It's not like your gonna go to the girls bathroom. That's where she took me from the restaurant!" I put my forehead on his. "You are a great boyfriend. Don't say your a bad boyfriend. I know you'll always love and protect me. A bad boyfriend would have left me there."

"I wouldn't leave you!"

I smiled. "I know. And that's why your a good boyfriend."

He hugged me tighter before letting go of me. "I love you (Y/n)"

"I love you too Luffy." I gave him a quick sweet kiss.

"I don't mean to ruin the moment." We turned to see Nami. "But, we need to leave this island, do we have everything?"

Luffy looked around, "I think so! Yosh! Let's go!"

"Wait." I looked around. "Where's Zoro?"

Everyone looked around.

"Damn marimo! We gotta wait on him and his stupid sense of direction." Sanji mumbled.

"Of course." Nami muttered.

"Was he even with us when we came back here?" I asked.

"Now that I think about it, I don't think so.." Luffy said. He ran up to the edge of the deck. "OI! ZORO!! WHERE ARE YOU!!!"

Nami hit Luffy on the head. "Baka! That's not gonna do anything! He could be anywhere on the island!"

I sighed. "We need to go look for him."

"Oi."

We all turned around to see the moss head we had all been talking about.

"Zoro!" I shouted. "Where were you!?"

"Umm" He paused. "To be honest, I have absolutely no clue. I was right behind you guys then I was grabbed by some marines. I quickly got rid of them but.. then you guys were gone and I had no clue how to get back."

"Of course." I muttered. "Well, at least your here now, so we can leave. Which means let's get going."

Nami smiled and gave me a thumbs up. "Alright! Set sail boys!"

"HAI NAMI-SWAAAAN~!!!" Sanji yelled with heart eyes.

I rolled my eyes as the boys got to work and the ship began to move.

I smiled. "You have no clue how happy I am to be out of here. I hope we never see that crazy bitch again."

"You know you didn't kill her right."

I turned to see Zoro. "Yeah I know, but that doesn't mean we'll see her again."

Zoro shook his head. "She doesn't give up that easily."

I tilted my head in confusion. "What do you mean?"

"You know I used to be a bounty hunter right?"

"Yes."

"Well, I had met her quite a few times, and she's quite crazy. No matter what you do, she'll follow us until she either captures us, or until she dies. That's just how she is."

"Wow. So basically, she just another crazy ass bitch, except she's a bounty hunter."

He nodded his head again. "Yes, but don't doubt Heidi. She may seem weak, but you never know what she will do." 

"Heidi?"

"That's her name. (Y/n). I want you to make me a promise."

"Ok."

He looked at me. "Promise me that at every single island we go to that you won't go off alone. You need to keep someone with you at all times at every island."

I smiled. "Ok Zoro. I promise."

He gave me a small smile. "Good. And make sure to look out even here. You never know where she'll show up."

"She that crazy?"

Zoro gave a small laugh. "Yeah, she is that crazy."

"Why is she after us though?"

"Because. She wants to show the world how strong she is, and were a big target."

I nodded. "Makes sense."

"I'm glad your safe. I was really worried." He looked down. "I was scared we weren't going to get you back."

I smiled. "Zoro, don't think that. I couldn't leave you guys. Your my best friend! You'd get lost on the ship if I weren't here."

He looked up at me. "Oi!" He shouted. "I'm not that bad!"

I giggled. "Sure." He gave me a small quiet laugh and waved bye to me.

I walked off to go find Luffy. I saw Luffy and Ace arm wrestling once again.

"I'll beat you this time Ace! I've gotten stronger!" Luffy yelled with a big grin.

"You sure about that little brother?" Ace said.

They continued to arm wrestle until they both gave up.

"Shishishi!" Luffy smiled. "I guess were still the same!!"

I smiled and walked up to them "Do you guys do this every time you meet?"

"(Y/n)!" Luffy shouted and ran to me, wrapping his arms around me.

Ace smiled. "Yup! We always see who's stronger!"

I giggled and hugged Luffy back. "But doesn't it always end in a tie?"

Luffy smiled "Yeah, but I'll beat him one day!"

Ace laughed. "Sure you will Luffy."

I kissed the top of Luffy's head. "I think your strong anyways Luffy."

"Awwww" Ace teased. "Luffy! That's so cute!"

Luffy blushed. "S-shut up Ace!"

Ace smiled. "Luffy, you can't expect me to not tease you!"

I giggled. "Don't be embarrassed Luffy."

He hugged me tighter and covered his blush with his hat. Making both me and Ace laugh.
