Luffy X Reader Just A Nakama?

Chapter 27. Return

*7 months later (so about 7 and a half months pregnant)*

(Y/n) POV

I put a hand on my growing stomach. It was pretty big and made me smile every time I looked at it.

"Only a month and a half left!" I said smiling at the bump.

I felt a pair of arms snake their way around me and place their hands on my stomach next to my hands.

"Hi Luffy." I placed my hands on top of his.

"Its almost time!!" He said placing his chin on my shoulder.

I smiled. "I know, I can't wait!."

"Do you think its gonna be a boy or girl?"

"I don't know, but either way, I'm going to love it."

"I will too!!" He paused. "Oh yeah! Usopp said the nursery is done! We wanted to show you!"

"Really!? Oh I bet it looks great!" He let go of me and we both walked towards the new nursery.

Luffy opened the door for me. I smiled when I saw the room. It was perfect. There was a crib and a rocking chair and stuffed animals and soft looking blankets and it was amazing.

"I love it!! Thank you all so much!!" I said smiling.

Everyone smiled at me. "It was no problem! We're all just as excited!" Usopp said giving me a thumbs up.

"Come on guys, let's let Luffy and (Y/n) look around." Nami said walking towards the door. 

I smiled at everyone as they left and told them all thank you. I stuck my tongue out at Zoro as he left in a childish way.

He laughed. "Wow (Y/n) so mature."

"Yup! See ya later Uncle Zoro."

"So I'm your uncle too? I thought I was just the baby's uncle."

I smiled. "Yeah, but I like calling you it, its funny."

He rolled his eyes sarcastically with a smile on his face and left. Luffy sat down in the rocking chair and pulled me onto his lap. I leaned back putting my back against his chest.

"I can't believe it. Luffy, we're gonna be parents in just a little over a month! All this." I said looking around the room. "Is all for our kid! I'm so happy, I just almost can't believe it."

"I love you (Y/n)" Luffy said kissing the back of my neck.

"I love you too Luffy."

I closed my eyes and began to relax. Just then the whole ship shook and I almost fell off  Luffy, but thankfully he caught me.   

I placed a hand on my stomach and looked at Luffy. "I wonder what that was!"

He shrugged "I dunno, let's go see."

I got off his lap and he took my hand in his while my other hand rested on my stomach.

"Oi! What's going on!?" Luffy yelled when he opened the door to the deck.

"I don't know! There seems to be a storm all of a sudden!" Sanji said as he rushed to close the sail.

"That's weird, normally Nami warns us before a storm." I said.

Nami came around the corner. "I would have if I would have known it was coming! This came with no warning what so ever!" She pointed at Luffy. "Go help Zoro and Sanji close the sail!"

Luffy ran off to help the boys. Nami shook her head. "How did I not know this was coming?" She mumbled.

I put a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry about it Nami, we don't expect you to be perfect. We just expect you to do your best, and we all know you do that. You do a lot around here, so don't worry about missing one storm."

She smiled slightly. "You seem to know just what to say. Thanks (Y/n)."

"No problem, now, what can I do to help?" I said smiling at her.

She shook her head. "You aren't doing anything. Not with the baby coming soon. We don't want anything to accidentally happen to you or the baby. You can stay right here, right next to me."

I sighed. "Fine." That was the one thing that did suck about being pregnant, there wasn't a whole lot I was really allowed to do. I stood next to Nami as I watched her give the rest of the crew orders on what to do.

"OI! GET (Y/N) INSIDE RIGHT NOW!!!" I heard Zoro yell.

"She's fine next to me! She's not working, she's just fine." Nami yelled back at him.

"WOULD YOU LISTEN TO ME FOR ONCE WOMAN! (Y/N) NEEDS TO HIDE NOW!" Zoro yelled.

Nami was about to yell back at him when Luffy came running to us and picked me up bridal style and ran with me to our room.

He ran into our room and shut and locked the door behind us. He placed me on the bed.

"We're staying in here until Zoro comes and says its safe." Luffy said sitting next to me and hugging me tightly.

"Luffy, what's going on?" I asked.

"Its that woman who took you last time. I don't want her to take you again." He said burring his head in my hair.

"What do you mean? Were not at an island so how would she take me?"

"She's here."

My eyes widened. "S-Shes... Here?" I put a hand on my stomach. I was instantly worried about our baby more than I was about myself.

"Don't worry (y/n)! I won't let her take you. She won't hurt you ever again. I'm here to protect you and the baby." Luffy said.

I wrapped my arms around him and cuddled into him. "How did she find us? Especially in this storm!"

"The storm... Was created by her. Sue ate the Ame Ame fruit. So she can create violent rain storms."

"S-she caused this?..."

Zoro came running in the room. "Guys! She's trying to sink the ship!"

We heard a laugh behind Zoro making my eyes widen in fear.
