I'm on the outside looking in
                              But I can't see a single thing
                              It's dark and gloomy, overcast
This love was never meant to last
What we had was short and sweet
But now we must admit defeat
There's nothing left of us to see
We're not who we used to be
                              It's time to let go
                              To relinquish our hold
                              Let go of the mast
Leave our past in the past
Don't be afraid to be bold
                              Let who we are show
Intertwined our fates weren't meant to be
Unraveling slowly and setting us free
From what we thought we wanted
                              The thought left us daunted
And unsure of what we're meant to do
