"Valerie!" Lily yelped in excitement as she brought her into a bear hug.

"Hey, Lily! It's been forever!" She said returning the bone crushing hug. "Are you okay? Is it about Sirius because I'll-" "No-no it's fine, I'm fine. Don't worry Lils."
Lily gave her a skeptical look, shrugged, and guided her to their compartment. "So, has Sirius talked to you over the summer?" "No. Valerie said grunting as she struggled to put her suitcases away. I wrote him a couple letters but he never wrote back."
"You wrote me letters?" The two girls turned around to face a taller looking Sirius. "Yeah, about 10. You never wrote back." "I don't know what happened, my mother probably threw them away." "I can vouch for that." James and Remus said in unison. "A really awful person she is, she offense mate." "None taken." Sirius snorted. "Merlin it looks like it's about to storm, let's get on the train." Remus suggested.
Everyone followed the mousey haired boy to a compartment and took their seats. James sat next to lily, much to Lily's seemingly dismay, but I knew she liked him. Sirius next to Valerie, which caused Valerie to blush and for Sirius to make a remark such as, " flustered are we?" Completed with a grin that caused Valerie to blush even more.
"Stop it you twit." She smiled. "When it comes to you I don't think I can, Scott." "So- what your basically saying is that you can't control yourself around her?" James said with a sly grin.
Sirius, instead of usually punching James' arm over remarks like that, continued to stare at Valerie when she wasn't looking.
"What, no comeback-" He was forced to stop talking because Remus cuffed his hand around James' mouth.
"Ah, you licked me!" Remus said as he wiped his hand on his coat. "That's what you get when you put your hand near my mouth." He said proudly. "Ugh, I swear!" Said Lily angrily.
"You swear you'll do what Lilypad?" "I swear I'll rip your head off if you don't shut up!" "Still the feisty Evans I know and love.
