"I'm fine, don't worry." Valerie shooed away a very concerned Lily.

"Your obviously not. Tell me what's wrong, I'm not leaving your side until you do."
"I-no- tell me." Lily cut her off.
After moments of debating, Valerie realized that Lily wasn't going to move anytime soon, so it was best to just tell her.

"It's just- it's just this memory I have. It's not a big deal."
"If it's not a big deal then tell me about." She declared.
"Well...."

"Valerie."
"Yes Aurora?" Asked 8 year old Valerie.
"Could you come help with the dishes please?"

Valerie, welcome to the idea of helping her sister, scurried over to assist.
As they scrubbed the grime off , Aurora turned on the radio and the Beatles came on.

"Let me take you down
Cause I'm going to Strawberry Fields
Nothing is real
And nothing to get hung about
Strawberry Fields forever
Living is easy with eyes closed
Misunderstanding all you see
It's getting hard to be someone
But it all works out
It doesn't matter much to me1
Let me take you down
Cause I'm going to Strawberry Fields
Nothing is real
And nothing to get hung about
Strawberry Fields forever
No one I think is in my tree
I mean it must be high or low
That is you can't, you know, tune in
But it's all right
That is I think it's not too bad
Let me take you down
Cause I'm going to Strawberry Fields
Nothing is real
And nothing to get hung about
Strawberry Fields forever."

Rory, what kind of song is called strawberry fields? That's silly." She giggled.
"It is isn't it. But I'm very fond of the tune."
"Aurora!"
Aurora turned to see her mother looking disdainfully upon her.
"How dare you play such music in this house; filthy mudblood music!"
Aurora said nothing, but continued to clean the dishes.
"Aurora! Aurora you listen to me when I'm talking to you!"

But Aurora stood her ground. She didn't dare turn around or open her mouth.

"Aurora!"

But this time, the young women, still choosing to ignore her mother, started to walk towards the door.
"Accio trunk."
"Aurora Scott what do you think your doing."
But it was too late, aurora had disappeared into thin air, right before Valerie's eyes. The one person in her life she genuinely loved, was gone.

Valerie was soaked in tears at this point.
Lily was at the verge of tears.

"And then, she was gone. She was done."
"she was done with out mother; our family."
She finished wiping the tears from her face.

Lily looked into her friends eyes lovingly.
"I'll be your new sister." She said simply.
"You already are."

That night Valerie lay awake, like she does on every anniversary of her sisters disappearance.

She remembered the song that played while they were doing the  dishes.
That one particular verse played over and over.

Nothing is real.
"Nothing is real." She whispered to herself.
