Lily's eyes looked as wide as golf balls.
"You put in quite the effort today." She said examining Valerie's hair.Valerie had her hair up in a complex braided bun, and some mini flowers scattered around the top of her head.
"Thanks, I feel like a princess."
"You sure look like one." Sirius said as he walked up to greet us."Thanks Black." She said with slight doubt.
"The pleasure is all mine, Scott."
Valerie and Lily were coming down from the girls dormitory one night only to be stopped by the voices of Sirius and the others.
"Wait." Lily whispered as she put her hand in front of Valerie.
"Listen." She said."Padfoot." James started.
"Yes." Sirius said, putting down his potions book.
"You're doing your homework."
"Yes, and?"
"You never do homework."
"Well now I am."
"He's obviously doing it for Valerie." Remus said, peering up from his arithmancy essay.
"Ahah!" James exclaimed.
"You're trying to impress her."
"I am not."
"Am too."
"Am not."
"If I knew I spell that would shut you two up, believe me, I would use it." Remus said ruffling his shaggy hair.Ignoring Remus, James continued to pester Sirius.
"Your like, in love with her."
"Her? I would never fancy her. She's too much like Evans, not my type."
"Oh, okay, sure." He said, obviously not believing him."
