Chapter 6

(Christof's POV)

"Ang gwapo gwapo talaga ni Christof "

"Sana 'di pa siya taken noh?"

Walking in the hallway, puro bulungan lang ang naririnig ko. I'm not even sure if that's even called whispering o sadyang pinaririnig nila sakin ang mga pinagsasabi nila.

Pero ano pa nga bang paki ko? Hindi naman nila makukuha ng sobra ang atensyon ko. I'm not fund of girls who try so hard to get my attention to the point that they get annoying and desperate.

At sanayan nalang rin naman tong ganito. When it comes to me, Xavier, Dayne and Andrei lagi nalang silang nagkakagulo but we're used to it. 

Papaakyat na sana ako sa taas na floor ng makita ko sa bandang unahan si Anie? Ano nga bang pangalan non?

She looks like she's having a hard time carrying all the pile of cooking books on her hands. Para san naman yang mga iyan? Pag aaralan niya? My eyes furrowed and shook my head. 

I remembered the bet that me and friends made so I stood there contemplating whether I should approach her or if I should just let Xavier take my car and everyone else's. 

Liligawan ko 'toh? Seryoso? Fuck. Just imagining the things I'll need to do to make her like me makes me uncomfortable. 

But I don't want to back out of the bet. Aasarin at aasarin lang ako nina Dayne!

'Fuck it' I thought. I wont loose anything if I talk to her. 

I have to make a move. Ngayon na ang pag asa kong malapitan siya or else I'll be behind the game. Ayokong mawala sakin ang Audi ko and I want all those cars they gave in for the bet!

I looked at her and walked slowly behind her. Shit. Ano nga bang pangalan nito? Annie? Fen? Something like that?

Moments later ay binangga ko siya ng sadyaan. Her thick books fell on the floor and her face turned into one big frown

"Sorry! Nagmamadali lang" I told her acting as if I didn't intentionally bump onto her.

Dali dali kong pinulot ang mga libro na nakakalat sa sahig ng hagdan. All of it were nutrition related. Nutrition books and history of cooking? Shit. May history pa pala ang pagluluto?

I smiled and looked at her. Her eyes wide open habang nakatitig sakin. She looks confused and shocked. And maybe mesmerized by my presence? Haha ang yabang lang!

(Steph's POV)

"Sorry Miss! Nagmamadali lang" rinig kong sabi ng lalaking nakabangga sakin

Agad niyang inumpisahan ang pagpulot sa nga libro.

I was about to help him pick up the books I grabbed from the library when I noticed something familiar about.

Napamulat ako ng malaki ng mapagtanto ko kung sino ang lalaking kasama ko ngayon.

I felt my cheeks turn hot and I felt my body stiffened. S-siya yung lalaki nung first day of school! The guy I accidentally fell on! Si Christof! Yung kaibigan ni Xavier!

Ng makatayo na siya ay agad niya akong tiningnan at ningitian. That's a little odd? When I met him he was very stern and a little bit rude. Bakit biglang ang bait niya?

"Next time, take the elevator. And you know, if you continue staring at me, I might melt " he told me. My eyebrows raised on its own at medyo napauwang ng unti ang bibig ko. 

Did he just say he might melt? 

Nanatili akong nakatayo sa harap niya at hirap na hirap i-digest ang mga salitang binitawan niya sakin.
