I sigh loudly, not caring if Angela or the rest of the drama club hear it.
I lay my head down having a reverie about last night.

"And how would you know that?" I ask stuttering partially.
"It's pretty obvious. But, if I am ever wrong I can always find a way to change that." He smiles crookedly.
I involuntarily roll my eyes. "I'd like to see you try." I retort.
"Is that another bet? Cuz' if you've already forgotten we still have one in the process... And I intend on winning it."
"The old Avery still lingers. I can't completely get rid of her-"
He breaks me off. "Then I will." Earnest in his voice.
I close my eyes for a while. Watching the little spots appearing and disappearing on my lids.
I respire for a moment and give him an encouraging smile.
If anyone can do it, it's him.
He seems surprised by this action as his eyebrows raise and eyes widen.

"I'm so bored!" I mutter.
"Hang in there. Trust me you'd want to pay attention to this part." Angela points to the little sign up sheet a few feet away from us. "You never know who'll be your Romeo."
I stiff up looking at the nerdy, freckled face ginger signing up as Romeo. He looks at me flashing me a smile showing his big, slobbery braces.
"Oh! Definitely not!" Angela stifles up a laugh that's way too noticeable as I now stalk the messily signed clipboard, examining every person that signs it with an eagle eye.
I glare at one boy making him change his mind and run away.
I smile imperceptibly, glad that I 'influeced' a.k.a forced someone out of it.
"Having fun there?" I keep my eyes on the prize already knowing who the annoyance is.
"Certainly." I say sarcastically. "How about you? Do you like the view?" I wiggle my butt that is sticking out for everyone to see, now only noticing that I was leaning across the narrow table, that eager to spy.
"Certainly." He replies. I turn my head to gawk at him angrily making me even more so to see the amused look on his face and the lust in his eyes.
"I'm looking forward to seeing who your Romeo is." His smirk growing on his face. He turns around, waving goodbye without looking back.
"Damn that smirk!" I hiss.
