No, I can't. I have Bret and you have Eliza." I say turning away from him.
"Not anymore." I look at him confused. "She broke up with me." he frowns slightly.
"So, I'm second choice?" I ask.
"No. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have realized. She broke up with me because she knew that I loved you." He grabs both of my shoulders looking into my eyes passionately.
I open my mouth but nothing comes out. "I-I." I stammer feeling light headed all of sudden as the cool breeze stings my face making me shiver.
He notices as he tightens his grip around my shoulder slowly walking me to the doorstep. I unlock the door staring blankly at the ground. I give hi a quick goodbye and shut the door behind me, sliding down against it.
I think to myself. Isn't this what I wanted? For him to love me back...
Sorry I haven't updated in forever!!!! I've had a ton of homework lately and couldn't update, I really wanted to give you guys something to read even if it's short.
