"Hey, you ok Avery?" Angela asks picking up a shiny apple than taking a bite out of it.

"Yeah, just kinda stressful being Juliet." I pick up a bottled water. "You know... being the daughter of royalty, having to find the perfect guy when in reality... you already did but you can't love him." I can't hide the grief in my voice while saying so and I just realized how similar Juliet and I are. "It's like getting a peek inside heaven than being told you can't go in."

Angela gently pats my shoulder. "Do you know why "Romeo and Juliet" is such a famous love story?" she asks. I shake my head.

"Because... They were the only love story that didn't start well and didn't end well." Angela pauses with a goofy grin on her face. "Two people loved each other. Even though, they both very well knew they could never be together for their family's past but, they still loved. They fought, they resisted, they rebelled. Yet, in the end they were never given a chance to truly love, freely. They died for each other... And for that their legendary love story lives on."

She says the last part proudly and it makes me realize why she's in the drama club and her love for history.

"Thanks Ange'. This lecture actually means a lot to me." I jog away waving at her barely hearing the rest of her sentence.

"So you didn't care about the othe-"

I turned around to look at her pouty face and couldn't help but giggle until I hit a hard wall... wait walls don't move and they aren't warm either.

I looked up finding Devon with an expressionless demeanor on his face. He then starts to lean closer and closer. I involuntarily shut my eyes. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6...

Six seconds. I slowly open one eye so it's barely a slit and there it is. That mischievous, teasing smirk. I fully open m eyes narrowing them at him as I ball my hands into fist at my sides as blood rushes to my cheeks.

"Hmpf!!" I blow out my cheeks crossing my arms over my chest. Just as I open my mouth to give him a piece of my mind he starts walking away.

"Hey! Where do yo-" I'm cut off as an iron grip drags me into a closet. I'm slammed against the cold wall looking at nothing but a black silhouette that's too dark to make out.

"Who are yo-" A big hand envelopes my mouth making my clear words into muffled sounds. I roll my eyes and start to take action. I feel the hand and it's firmness then, I slide up their arm which is very bulky and muscular. Now I know it's a guy. Suddenly, I sense the arm contract and heat radiating from their body as they grow nearer. His minty breath falls onto my face as he removes his hand.

I say nothing... because I can't with lips against mine.
