Ugh...
*bzzt*
My phone went off like a mad thing, as four texts came my way, each one as paining as the last. The messages in question were notifications of people moving. Everyone, even Katelyn, was moving away. And I would be stuck. They were all headed in the same direction, so we all decided to meet at the park and they all gave me their new addresses and their phone numbers. After hugs were had, we all went to my house and listened to some music. Mom was out, she'd gone food shopping. The doctors released her from hospital three months prior, so at least I had her. We ate some food and such, and then, the next day, they all text me to say they'd left and were on their way to new houses. I cried a little, as they were my only friends. And the only ones I thought I could trust with my secret... My ability.

Nobody else could know.

About two weeks later, there was a knock at my door, and this person told me they knew about the powers. With a face of shock, I slammed the door and they teleported me and them into my bedroom.
"Shh. You have a choice your mother cannot know about."
"Wh-what?! Wh-who even are you?!"
They slapped me.
"I said keep it quiet! But you need to decide. This world or another."
None of what this guy said made sense.
"You live in a world where humans fear you, or would if they knew. This isn't the place for you. You should be in a world with your own kind, and humans that do not fear. My homeworld for example."
Then he told me why my Mom couldn't know.
"If you decide yes, we will erase her memory of your existence, and she will just be a happy woman living her life."
I looked down when he said that, contemplating the fact that she wouldn't have to deal with the stress I have.

But in my head, I'd already decided.

"I'll go." I said.
"It's not like there's anything left for me here, so..."
The man smiled and put his hand on my shoulder. Slowly, a black cloud covered us and then as it cleared, I found I was somewhere completely different. He had actually brought me to a new world.

A place I could call home, perhaps.
