I sighed as I woke up. In a dream I'd had, I realised maybe I was being to irrational over this. Maybe it was just a spur-of-the-moment thing. I closed my eyes, stood up, somehow managed to tear the letter up that I'd written before with Telekinesis, and nodded to myself. I grabbed my things, and walked back home.
After about three hours, I passed my house. I wanted to see Ciel. I needed to apologise. I sighed, walking into the Hospital, and the first person I saw as I peered through the door I was told was Ciel's was Elenore. I sighed, just looking through for a time, and then started walking. I heard a woman's voice. Wendy, one of Elenore's friends.
"Jacob... You can't be here." She said, angrily.
"Do you know what you put Elenore through?" She glared at me, silently giving me the command to leave."I just came to say sorry." I said, no emotion in my words. I know my face had gone blank too, because I could see her scanning for something with her eyes.
"What happened... Was my fault. I can't excuse that." I said, closing my eyes.
"And I needed to say sorry. Now... I'm leaving. I don't want Elenore to see me." I said, but it was too late.I heard her coming.
"Jacob?" Elenore asked, and I turned my head.
"Hello, Elenore." I said, still blank.
"I'm sorry about Ciel, I came to apologise to him. But I saw you were here, so I decided not to. Best not cause you any annoyance.""Well... You cause me less by leaving now. I'll... Tell Ciel you're sorry." She said. I nodded, then walked out, Wendy still glaring at me. I walked into my house, locked the door, and sighed.
I screwed up.
I screwed up so much it physically hurt.
And now I might be losing friends.
