"Jacob, be ready for a ride!" was all the person had said before the cloud of darkness had brought me to this place. I stood atop the hills and stared around at the green, open fields where we were.
"Wow, this is amazing!" I said, in awe of the sheer beauty of the place.
"Isn't it just?" he told me, smiling.
Then I remembered.
Mom.
She lost her memory of me.
"At least she won't have to deal with my stress..." I mumbled, happily.
"What's that?" The person asked me.
"Oh, nothing."
"Okay, then."We walked for a while, and I could tell he was considering something. I looked down to my right and saw a beautiful lakeside town.
"Wow... Look at that place..." I said, once again awestruck by the place.
Once again, I remembered something.
Katelyn.
Had her memories been wiped? Had the others' memories been cleared of me? I hoped so, I wouldn't want anyone finding out I used to exist. Emphasis on used.I came across a small area where there were training dummies made of straw, massive, towering, deep green and brown trees and lots of shrubbery.
I was glad I took this life, as opposed to my normal life back on Earth.
The life that fell apart at my feet.
