(This follows after chapters 44 and 45 of Elenore.)
I sat down and waited for somebody to say they were doing dinner. After food, we went to sleep. But I got none. At about two in the morning, I got up and sat by the fire. I hugged my knees, then felt a strange shifting in the gravity around me. I gasped as some rocks lifted and dropped.
"Crap..." I whispered. I muttered under my breath as it got stronger. I was lifted, then pushed back down, with some force I may add. I ran to Ciel's tent, picked him up, then went into Elenore's (luckily she was dressed), and then ran, constantly being raised and slammed back down. Then the forest cleared, and I put them down. I flew up, and looked at the beast, at the vortex it had been making.
"U-um..." I muttered, as I saw that over there it was crushing what it lifted. Then the trees were pulled up, dragging me skywards with them. Then they were thrown down, myself barely managing to stay in the air. They all collided and the hard bark snapped, making the very trunks split and break. Then I looked down and saw Ele and Ciel staring at what was happening around them. I saw a black army of energy sprites flying their way, and shot down, throwing a black shield around them as the ground was torn apart, and it was dropped on top of us. My shield was the only thing between being crushed and us living.
About thirty minutes later, I dropped the shield and we were safe. But there was no light. I dropped to my knees and panted, then finally blacked out.
The town was reduced to dust.
