I awoke to the sound of screams and shouts. I leapt to my feet and ran out my door, and there I see it; a creature seventy feet tall, and easily forty wide. It had smoke coming from its nostrils, and it had creatures surrounding it that seemed to be using some shadow magic. I stared at it's entirety, is black scales making it even more shadowy than the creature from before. It was then that I saw Ciel on the ground, not moving. I gasped, and used my dark powers to teleport myself over to him. I put my head to his chest.
There was a pulse. But it was only faint, so I had to act quickly. I felt my aura growing, and as my eyes became black, I saw a shadow creature run towards a mother desperately trying to keep her child safe. I yelled for her to duck, but it was too late, and her torso slid off of the rest of her body. The baby was burnt too badly to live. And I had to watch. Then it saw us and ran towards us. I stood next to Ciel's body, and blasted a energy pulse through the ground that rippled though the earth, distorting the sound, cracking the ground. I only wiped out seven, but it was enough. I grabbed Ciel, threw him over my shoulder, and sprinted to my cave. I laid him down carefully and rushed back to the town. I watched as men, women and children were cut down. I gritted my teeth, trying to hold back my demon side. But for some unknown reason, I snapped, and I felt my control over myself lacking. I also felt the presence of a new power, maybe the same as the creatures. I yelled out. "C'mon then, ya dumb a-holes!" I shouted as I leapt into them, sending a huge ripple through the town, bigger than the last. But they had already adapted to that, and before I knew it, my aura was gone, the new abilities too, and they piled on top of me, in an attempt to kill me. And then, I drifted into the world of the unconscious, in a deep, deep sleep.
