After a nice day of swimming, me, Ele, and Ciel came home. We were all really tired, so we just sat against the walls of the cave and drifted to sleep.
What I saw in the morning was most unexpected. Ele had sat next to me last night, I know, but as she drifted off, she had leaned to the side and her head was in my lap. I widened my eyes after rubbing them with a quiet yawn. Luckily Ciel was asleep, I had no idea how he would react.
About thirty minutes later, she woke up, and started to turn her head to face me. "Hey Ci--- Jacob?!" She exclaimed, though Ciel stayed asleep. I winced, awaiting her reaction.
"H-hey...?"Then she remembered how she'd sat next to me, and sighed.
"I'm... so sorry..." she said, shaking her head.
"It's okay... you'd better move before Ciel sees though..." I replied, and she sat up, off of my lap. That was a hell of a way to start the morning!
