I sat in my front room, my depression and things had cleared away. The house was brighter, as I'd cleaned it. I went back to the cave and brought back the game I'd hunted, and made some nice food. I trained everyday on the dummy outside, which I had upgraded to a metal one so I could bend it as I pleased but hopefully not break it. Things were going good. Not as they were, but... Good. It was then that I got my first mission. Sebastion came up, handed me the letter, then said he had to go. It read:
To whom it may concern,
There is a place in a nearby state where a man has created an army powered with dark weapons, that is said to bring chaos to our peaceful town. Name a price in any currency and I will pay. I cannot imagine the trouble you might go through to do this!Yours Truly,
Mr Terrence KingI accepted, and went to claim the mission. I then went to the given location and arrived outside.
I applied a mask I'd made, that covered everything but my eyes. It even scared me a little, so fear wasn't a problem. My body gained its purple aura and I silently leapt onto the roof, where there were two heavily weaponised... Robots? I relaxed and tilted my head. "Huh?" I said quietly, but not quiet enough. They turned and raised wands, blasting black vortex balls at me. I flipped over them and tore their heads clean off, then using the momentum broke their chests with double kicks. Just to be safe. I panted then walked into the roof access lift, going to the button marked 'Control Center'. I walked inside, nobody there. I saw a giant computer, and in one swift click, blew up the servers and everything, then walked out, all robots now offline. Just to be safe, I'd also turned on their auto-destruct sequences. I got out of the area, turned, pressed a detonator, and then...
Beep... Beep... Beep...
Hm, that's o---BOOOM!!!
Yup, spoke too soon. I walked home, claimed my reward, and went to my house, where I ate lunch.
