I awoke in the morning, my campfire put out. I sat up, rubbing my eyes. I looked around, taking in the lush green undergrowth, and the mammoth brown tree trunks. As I stood, I picked up my knife. I knew I'd have to do this. I need a weapon. I need to make a bow, like Katelyn had shown me while she lived in my town. I started chopping at the wood, my arm building up a large whiplash pain as the knife slammed into the tree, instantly stopping after each hack.

After about three hours, I had managed to carve out a bow, and fifty arrows. I sighed, and walked around, looking for something to kill for food.

It took me long enough, but eventually I found three deers. I'd always been a quick shot, so maybe I'd have food for a week. I breathed in and held it in, aiming for their heads, with three arrows in my grip. I breathed out as I loosed the arrows. I held my breath as time seemed to slow, and then I realised that I'd hit all three in the head. I fist pumped, then ran in, using my dark magic to move them back to the cave. I used my knife to cut one open, then lit the fire and managed to cook a nice spit-roast game meal. At the end of the day, my legs were limp. They felt like noodles, my body like a 10t weight. I flopped back, deciding I'd try to sleep. But before I fell asleep, I tried to focus on Elenore, and tried to see how she was holding up. She was crying like Niagara Falls, tears staining her face. I sighed, knowing she hadn't read the letter, and that she was too worked up about Ciel to read it. I wasn't annoyed at this, because I knew he meant the world to her. Peering into her thoughts, I found a memory of the doctors saying she couldn't see Ciel. I got mad then, and switched minds to the doctor, and forced him to allow her in. I sighed, then strained my abilities to talk to Elenore telepathically.
"Elenore... Please cheer up. It's not healthy to be like that. Also, if you go to the hospital... You can see Ciel now." Then my voice began to go static and I stopped.

Another long... Long sleep.
