As I sat, and it grew darker, I managed to make out a feeling in my body. It was low at first, but then it grew more and more and became painful. So painful, in fact, that I actually screamed out. I wriggled on the floor and felt something pounding at my chest from the inside. I screamed out again, then it slammed through. I saw it raise up into the air. It was black as night, with a giant sword and armour like a goliath would wear. It raised its blade and swung it down on my chest, going straight through me. But no pain. Instead, I felt my arm start to shake violently. Then the other. Soon, my body was shaking. It was clear to me that something was taking control of me. If anything, this is the last thing I wanted to happen. Then I felt a strange connection to it. Like when I had kissed Elenore. Like a recognition.
This was what had made me do what I had done, and forced me to stop only when I was out of breath. Why I cursed myself for doing it.
Because it wasn't me doing it!
It then had me sprint to the camp silently while Ciel and Ele were sleeping and then it took control of my head. It sat me on the bench, until morning.
When they woke up and saw me looking directly at their tents, Ciel was the first to move, but the creature made me blast him back to his tent.
In a voice not my own, it spoke:
"I am not Jacob Green. I am Markiunreth of the Demon world. As you may have noticed, Jacob has done some... strange things. But this was me. I was the one that made him kiss Elenore. You tried to kill your friend, Ciel. And worse still, you almost did. But for no reason. Take this as a ransom. You will give me what I want, and I shall release this poor creature." It said.Ciel being Ciel, said, "How do we know it's not just you playing us, bastard?!"
Then it replied, "Would Jacob do this?" It asked, creating a giant portal to the demon world that creatures were trying to pull thenselves out of.
Then Ele cried out, "Okay, stop!"
And it stopped.
"What do you want?" She asked.
Ciel looked at her like she'd just signed to give away their child.
"For you to leave. You are trespassing on my land. Go to where Jacob escaped to, that is unclaimed land" It says coldly.
"Done." Ele said with hesitation.
"Good. Now... I shall release Jacob." It says, and I feel an extreme pain in my stomach, and I cry out. The thing flies out of me, lurching me forward onto my hands and knees. I look up, panting, vision blurry. "S-s-sorry..." I said, before passing out.
