Chapter 5

Park Areum's POV
I looked at Taehyung and he just looked back at me.. Well if he's not gonna talk I'm going.. I turned around and headed to my next class.. Turns out me and Jungkook have the same class now.. But luckily there were no teachers this afternoon.. They all had an emergency meeting. I took my earphones and put them in my ear and listened to some music and closed my eyes. After awhile I felt someone tap my shoulder. And when I looked who it is, I saw Jungkook sitting beside me. "What?" "A-ahh... Areum.. Would you mind if you accompany me later at the cafe?" "Why? Can't your hyungs go with you?" "W-well... They can but I just want to get to know you more..." "Why?" "Because V hyung always steals your attention.." What's with this boy? "Fine. I'm only agreeing to this because you won't stop bothering me if I refuse.." "Really?! Thank you Areum! I'll meet you later at the hallway near your locker okay?" I just nodded and continued to listen to some music. Time went fast and it was finally dismissal. I gathered my things and went to my locker and waited for jungkook... What's taking him so long? I sighed and waited impatiently...

Jungkook's POV
Yesssssss!!! She said yes!!! I can't believe it! I'm going on a date with Areum!!!!! Calm yourself Jeon Jungkook.. Calm yourself.. I took a deep breath and started walking. I didn't tell my hyungs about this so you could probably say that I ditched them.. I went to the male comfort room and fixed myself.. I wouldn't want to look bad in front of Areum right? After that I went straight to the hallways and saw Areum waiting there and looking impatient.. I took another deep breath and went straight to her "H-hi Areum... Sorry if you waited too long.." "Mm.. Let's get going."

Once we reached the cafe, both of us were quiet.. Say something Jungkook! You're a man right?!  "S-so Areum... Tell me about yourself.." Areum looked at me for a second and turned back her attention to her coffee. "Why would I?" "Because I want to know more about you." She smirked and sat properly while crossing her arms. "Why the sudden interest, Jeon Jungkook?" "I-I.." Damn.. I don't know what to say!! "You like me.. Don't you?" She said while smirking... "W-what?! N-no I don't! Stop assuming! You're not even that pretty..." Lies.. All freaking lies!! She looked at me for a moment... "Alright then.. But let me tell you Jeon Jungkook, keep your words.. Don't. Fall. For. Me. Got that?" "W-wait.. Why?" How could I do that?! "You said you don't like me right? Then keep it that way. Anyways I'll be going now, thanks for the treat." And with that she stood up and left me... You're so stupid Jeon Jungkook!! So stupid!!!! You didn't even got her number! I thought you're a man, Jeon Jungkook?!?! I groaned and left the cafe and once I open the door to our dorm, I was greeted by six boys.. Great... Just what I needed... Note the sarcasm.

Jin's  POV
We all went to our dorm after giving up on searching Jungkook at school... Such a loving maknae... Leaving his hyungs without saying a word.. We all waited for him until he came.. "Where have you been?" I asked. "Cafe.." He simply answered. "With whom?" "With Areum.... Oh man holy sh*t!" He cursed when he realized what he just said. "What?!" We all said in unison. "Why were you with Areum?" V said.. Ohhhhhh I think someone's jelly...... "Why would you care? You said I can have her if I want right? Since she's not your TYPE." Jungkook said while emphasizing the "type" word. V just rolled his eyes and went to his room... "What's with that guy?" J-hope asked. "I don't know? Maybe puberty?" Suga said while shrugging. I looked back at Jungkook.. "Do you really like Areum?" "Yeah.. I guess so..." He said while avoiding eye contact. I sighed and pat his back. "We're here for you kookie.." "Thanks hyung.." He said while smiling. After that I cooked dinner and called the boys to eat. "So Jungkook, does Areum know you like her already?" "N-no... I don't know..." "What do you mean you don't know?" Rapmon asked but Jungkook just shrugged. "Don't worry kookie, you got a chance with her.. I mean, who wouldn't fall for our Golden Maknae right?" Jimin said. "Areum.." V muttered. "What?" Jungkook asked. "Areum wouldn't fall for you.." V said seriously. Jungkook scoffed. "Oh? And why? Because she'll fall for you? Pfft.. I thought she's not your type?" "And what if she is?" V retorted. Jungkook glared daggers at V and V bursted into laughter. "Pfft.. I'm just joking okay? She's all yours.. I don't care. Whatever makes you happy. Anyways, I'm done eating.. I'll be in my room if you need me." After that, V left and we all finished our food quietly.

Jeon Jungkook's POV
I lied on my bed and let my thoughts wander off. How can I make you notice me Areum? How? V hyung always gets your attention... You don't like him right, Areum? Why is V hyung acting so weird today? I mean he's always weird but today's different... Does he.... Does he like her? I groaned in frustration and messed my hair. I can't let you have her hyung... I was first... And I'll make sure I'll be her last...
