Chapter 79

Park Areum's POV
After all of us got out of the car, I locked the car and walked with Jimin and Taehyung to their dorm. Once we arrived, we saw all of them sitting at the living room along with Serena, their managers, and Bang PD-nim.

"Finally! What happened? All of you weren't answering our calls or texts!" Namjoon said while looking at the three of us with worried eyes.

"We couldn't even reach you." Suga added. "We know. And I claim to be the one responsible for it. And that's why I am here. For me to explain." I said while bowing slightly.

"You must be Areum. I heard a lot of things about you." BangPD-nim said as he stood up and offered his hand. "It's nice to finally meet you sir." I said as I took his hand to shake it.

"Let's all take a seat while we discuss why all of you were gone for more than half an hour." Bang PD-nim said as he ushered the three of us to sit. "We got chased by some men which I believe are part of the death threats that this group has been receiving lately." I explained while looking at each one of them. "Aside from not responding to your calls and messages, all of you weren't able to contact any of us because I restricted them from doing so. I made them turn off their GPS, and made them throw their sim cards except for mine." I explained further. "But why? I personally think it was better if you let us reach you. In that way we could call the police for help."Serena said.

"Yes that's true but what if they were tracking us? Even if their GPS was off they can still track us if they have their sim cards on their phone. I used that method so if ever we manage to lose them while we were on the road, they won't be able to track us." I explained. "Well did it work?" Manager Seljin asked.

"It would have if we lost them on the road. But we managed to lead them to the police. They are locked up right now and all we have to do is make a statement and interrogate them." I explained. Bang PD-nim nodded before looking at me. "Then what do you suggest we do now?" He asked. "We can't just let them go do their usual stuff."Bang PD-nim added.

"That's true. We can't just let them out when there might be more people who are out to get them." Manager Seljin agreed. The rest of the boys were just listening to our conversation. It's very clear that all of them are tired with these death threats that are being thrown at them.

"I have an idea." I said and all of them turned to look at me. "It's just a suggestion. It's okay if you have a better one." I added. "Please continue." Bang PD-nim said while he nodded his head at me.

"Well... I think it was easy for the men to follow them because they know their schedule already. Like what time the boys usually leave and arrive at the dorm and company. So I suggest to change their schedule. Make it random."I explained.

"Wouldn't that be tiring for us?" Taehyung asked. "Well it depends on how your schedules will be arranged." I said while looking at Taehyung.

"We could arrange that. I, along wth your managers will see what we can do with your schedule." Bang PD-nim said to the boys. "Any suggestions you want to add?" Manager Seljin asked me.

"Ah yes, I think it would be better if all of you change your sim cards like Jimin and Taehyung. Only a few and trusted people should know your new number. People like your members, managers, Bang PD-nim, family members." I suggested while looking at all of them.

"And yours. Just byhearing your suggestions I could tell that you know how to handle these things." Bang PD-nimsaid.

Kim Taehyung's POV

After the discussion, it was only the seven of us who were sitting at the living room. All of us were quiet and in our own world. We never had a proper sleep ever since the day death threats were thrown at us.

"Come on. Let's all goto sleep." Jin hyung broke the silence. "What? Are we just going to let that go?"I asked. "It's late Taehyung, we'll discuss this tomorrow." Yoongi hyung said and sighed afterwards.

I couldn't take anymore and stood up. "No! We'll discuss it right here, right now." Isaid sternly. "Alright then hyung, what is it you want to talk about that makes you so persistent?" Jungkook said while frowning.

"Oh come on! Don't tell me I'm the only one who thinks like this." I said while pinching the bridge of my nose. "Just get straight to the point already." Yoongi hyung said.

"It's about Areum." I said. All of them look at me with no interest. "Can't you just let your issue with Areum go?" Jimin asked. "How can I when she's acting suspicious?" I retorted.

"Just think about it guys. Before meeting Areum, we didn't received any death threats. But ever since she stepped in our lives, this happened." I said while trying to get some sense in their minds. "Wait...Let me get this straight. So you're saying it's Areum's fault? To whatever is happening to us right now? It's her fault?" Namjoon hyung asked which I respond with a nod.

"You're insane Taehyung. How could you think like that after she helped you and Jimin?" Hobi hyung asked while shaking his head. "You don't understand hyung. Just think about it. Why does she now those kind of things? She speaks as if she really knows how to handle those kind of things. I personally think that she's the one behind those death threats." I said. "Remember the class we had with her one time? When she entered the classroom looking haggard as if she just escaped from a kidnapper?" I asked. All of them we looking at me but none of them responded. "Remember when we were going to surprise her and we failed and saw she was holding a bat? Remember when we saw her holding Mark's collar while pinning him on the locker then punched and slapped him afterwards?"I explained while hoping they will be able to understand.

"Well maybe she just knows how to defend herself..." Hobi hyung muttered although he was quite unsure. "That same day when we saw her punch Mark, Mark confronted me. He threatened me and attempted to punch me but he was stopped by Areum... I can even remember what she said to him." I muttered. "What did she say?" Jin hyung asked. I looked at him before replying. "That Mark shouldn't test her patience... That they both know that she could do worse than punching him." I told them.

"Areum couldn't possibly do that to us right? She wouldn't send death threats to us."Jungkook said while looking down. "He's right. Areum wouldn't do that." Jimin said.

"Don't you even guys remember the first time we met her? She's the coldest person in school. There were even rumors that she's involved in some type of gang or something." I explained. "Come to think of it... The death threats started after she left the country." Hobi hyung muttered. I looked at the others to see they were starting to consider my thoughts. Well except for Jungkook and Jimin.

"I think we shouldn't trust her that much. We don't really know her. Who knows that she's just putting up a facade?" I told them. "We'll just observe for now. We can't just jump into conclusions." Namjoon hyung said before standing up to leave. Soon the other followed which left me and Jimin alone in the living room.

"I still believe she has nothing to do with this. You're just saying things." Jimin said.

"But what if she has to do something with this? We both know that you heard what she said to me inside the car. That if she wanted me dead, I'd already be dead."I said while looking at him straight in the eye. "You should stop taking her side for once and look at another angle." I said as I stood up as well before going to my own room leaving Jimin alone.

I'm not doing this because I hate her...I'm doing this because I care for my group.
