Chapter 18

Park Areum's POV
As usual, I woke up and did my morning routine and went to school. Remember when I said I'll be keeping my distance with BTS? Looks like I'll be having a hard time fulfilling it.. I just remembered that they're my seatmates... Maybe I'll just skip classes for today.. I don't even feel well. I'll just go chill at the field. Class is about to start so no one is around. Today is cloudy and cold. Christmas is near. I lay down on the grass and just stared at the clouds. I miss you mom and dad... I wish you're still here with me.. I replayed all the memories in my head. And as it went on and on, I didn't realize that I'm already crying. Two years have passed and I still haven't found out who killed them.. But I won't give up.. Someday I'll find him/her...

I spent hours just lying on the field doing nothing but watching the clouds.. Until the bell rang. Lunch time. I don't have the appetite so I decided to stay here for a bit. I was in peace until the soccer team went to the field. I got up and made my way to the corridors. All of a sudden my head was spinning. I lean on to the locker. My head is throbbing... I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I thought I was okay now. I started walking until everything went black. The last thing I saw is a silhouette running towards me while shouting my name.

Park Jimin's POV
Class has just ended and I made my way to my locker to get my things for my next class. As I was passing through the corridor, I noticed someone leaning against my locker.. As I walked nearer I noticed that it was Areum. Then all of a sudden she fell. "Areum!!!" I said as I run towards her while screaming her name. She's unconscious... I touched her forehead and she's burning! She has a fever! I immediately carried her and went to the clinic. I texted Namjoon hyung that I won't be attending my next class with him since I'm here in the clinic watching over Areum. He said that he'll come over after his class. I looked at Areum who's shivering. I sighed and put a blanket on her. "You should've just stayed at home if you weren't feeling well. What if I haven't passed by the corridor? Who'll take you here? Stop making me- I mean "us" worried.." I said while looking at her with worried eyes. I suddenly let out a chuckle.. I keep talking but she won't even here me, she's unconscious.. I yawned a bit.. Might as well take a nap while waiting for Namjoon hyung.. I sat on the chair that's next to Areum and closed my eyes until I drifted to sleep..

"Yah Jimin-ah. Jimin-ah." I heard a voice.. I slowly opened my eyes to see Areum awake. "Areum, you're awake.. How are you feeling?" I asked. "I'm fine. Why am I here?" She asked. "Well, you blacked out because of your fever. Good thing I was passing by the corridor and saw you. So I took you here." I explained. "Thanks.." "Nah, it's okay." I said and smiled. Then there was a knock on the door. "Jimin?" "Oh hyung." "Go with the others, I'll just follow, I just have something to say to Areum." "Umm... Sure, okay. Don't take too long." I said and eyed Namjoon hyung suspiciously and went out. I went to the hallway where me and the others would always wait for each other.

Park Areum's POV
Namjoon sat on the chair that's next to me. "What is this you want to talk about?" I asked. He looked at me emotionlessly before speaking. "I want you to stay away from us. Especially from V and Jungkook. You're just a huge distraction to the two of them." I scoffed. "Do you even hear what you're saying? And they said you're the smartest one. Let me tell you, Namjoon, that your "boys" are the ones who keep tagging along, they're the ones who are always behind me as if they're my tail. So don't say that I'm the one who keeps going near them. You should be telling that to your boys, not to me. And one more thing. Me? A huge distraction? Well, I could say the same damn thing to you and your boys. My life was all peace in quiet until you and your boys stepped in this school. Now tell me, who's the huge distraction now?" I said while looking at him seriously. "Just keep your distance and we'll do the same." He said and walked out of the clinic. I looked at the time and decided to go home too. I stood up and fixed my uniform and got my things. By the time I closed my locker, I got dizzy again, I shrugged it off and continued walking. Every step I make the more dizzy I get. I sat on a bench while I'm starting to lose my consciousness. I need to get home.. Then all of a sudden.. It began to rain. This is so not my day.. I was already drenched when i suddenly felt that I was no longer getting wet because of the rain, as if there's something on top of me that's preventing the rain to drench me even more. I looked up to see someone standing with an umbrella. "Areum?" Then everything went black again.
