Chapter 44

Park Areum's POV
I went to my locker to get my things that I'll be needing in tutoring Jackson Wang. After I got my things, I shut my locker. Now... Where to find Jackson... I thought for a moment... After a few minutes of thinking I finally know where he is. I just hope I'm right. I sighed and started walking. While walking, I saw Minji gathering all of  her things. Looks like someone's getting bored here in school. I thought. I decided to ignore her and just walk. I saw her looking at me when I was about to pass by her though I didn't plan on even sparing her a glance. "Oh look, it's Areum, the b*tch." I heard Minji said. Good thing we're the only ones here in the hallway. I still didn't spare her a glance and continued walking but she pulled my arm. "You can't just walk away from me you b*tch. I'm not finished with you." Minji said. I just smiled at her "Bitch is a female dog and dogs bark. Bark comes from trees and trees are part of nature. Nature is beautiful so thanks for that compliment." I said and yanked my arm back and started to walk. "You're really such a loser. I wonder how on earth you convinced V to be with you. Maybe black magic?" Minji said. I laughed a bit and turned around to look at her "You know, I could eat a bowl of alphabet soup and sh*t out a smarter statement than whatever you just said." after I said that, Minji's jaw dropped. I smirked and made my way to find Jackson.

I stood outside the gym and saw Jackson playing basketball.. Alone. I let myself inside. Jackson started to dribble and shoots. "He shoots and he scores!" I said and walked towards him. He turned around and looked at me. "And who are you supposed to be?" Jackson said and continued playing. "Park Areum's the name. I'll be your tutor." I said. I heard him sigh "Let's just get this done." he said and took his bag and started to walk. Geez, the things I do for grades..

"A covalent bond, also called a molecular bond, is a chemical bond that involves the sharing of electron pairs between atoms. These electron pairs are known as shared pairs or bonding pairs, and the stable balance of attractive and repulsive forces between atoms, when they share electrons, is known as covalent bonding." I explained. Me and Jackson are inside the library. "Did you get that?" I asked Jackson. I looked at him and saw he wasn't paying attention and was just playing with his phone. "Are you done saying nonsense?" Jackson asked and put his phone down. I took a deep breath and stood up and fixed my things. "You know what? Just go find someone else to help you." I said. "Let me remind you that in the first place I didn't asked you to help me." Jackson said. "That's the point. You didn't asked but I was willing to help you. But it looks like you can't see that." I answered back. "I can't believe I wasted my time for this. Good luck in graduating." I added and left the library. I looked at the time and saw that it was already dismissal. I can't believe I wasted my morning and afternoon for nothing. I didn't even got to eat lunch! I decided to go to the canteen hoping there's something I could eat since I'm really starving. I decided that I'll just buy a sandwich since that's all that's left in the canteen. I reached for my wallet but it wasn't in my pocket nor in my blazer. Sh*t.. I guess I forgot my wallet at home.. I sighed and sat at one of the chairs inside the canteen. I slouched down and closed my eyes. After a few minutes I felt someone sit beside me. The person cleared his throat. I opened my eyes and sat properly only to see who was beside me. I just looked at him for a second then looked away. He cleared his throat again and placed a sandwich on the table. "I just want to apologize about how I behaved a while ago.." Jackson said. "What you said made me think that.. You're right. I should've at least thanked you for helping me. Here, I saw you wanted to buy this.. I know you haven't took your lunch because of me, so take this as my peace offering." he said and handed me the sandwich. I gave him a small smile "Thanks. Anyways, I need to get going. I have guests coming to my house later. See you when I see you." I said and stood up and was about to leave when Jackson held my arm. "Even though it's embarrassing.. Could you tutor me again?" Jackson said. "Of course." I replied. He smiled and let go of my arm. "Thanks. I'll just message you I guess..." Jackson said. I just nodded and left. I still got soooo many things to do...

Jackson Wang's POV
I looked at the girl who's now leaving the canteen. I couldn't help but smile. I can't believe I'm really doing this. I shook my head and left the canteen.
