Park Jimin's POV
Both of us were quiet during the car ride. I wanted to say something but I'm having second thoughts. Areum looked like she didn't want to talk. I sighed and looked outside. The silence was so deafening. After a few minutes, her phone rang. Her phone was in her bag so she just took an earpiece and answered the call there. "Hello?" Areum answered while she continued to drive. "I already told you. No." Areum said sternly. Who could be on the other line? I saw Areum's brows furrowed. "I already told you that I'm not doing it. I'll only do it if there's a more valuable reason." She said. "I don't want to talk about this. I'm driving right now." She said and took the earpiece off. "I'm sorry if you have to see me like this." Areum said while driving. "It's okay." I said trying to lighten up the mood. "So... About your parents' resort.." I began. "Yeah? What about it?" She said while focusing her eyes on the road. "Umm it's not that I don't want to go with you but I don't have my shades and mask with me. I don't want some fans to get the wrong idea when they see me plus I don't want them to make an issue about you." I explained. "I understand. But don't worry. It's a private resort. You can't get in unless you're a member or something." She said. She continued to drive and stopped by the gas station. "Do you need to go to the restroom?" She asked me. "Umm.. No." I answered. "Okay. Stay here for a bit while I go." She said and got out of the car. My phone suddenly buzzed and saw that Namjoon hyung was calling me. "Yeah hyung?" I answered as soon as picked up the call. "Hey Jimin. I know you're with Areum but where are you?" he asked. "Well..." Should I tell them? "I'm at the gas station right now.." I said. "Ahhh... Wait.. Are you guys out of the town?" Namjoon hyung asked. "Well.. You can say that. Trust me, I didn't planned this. Areum asked me if I could go with her." I said. "That's unfair. How could you be out of the town and enjoy your day while we stay here with Minji.." Namjoon hyung said. "Well maybe because you guys agreed to hangout with V and Minji. I'm not saying this because I hate her even though I actually do. But maybe you guys should hangout with us sometime. Areum actually misses hanging out with the whole group.. Well maybe except for Taehyung." I said. Namjoon hyung just sighed. "We'll try. Anyways, please come home early. We have school tomorrow." Namjoon hyung reminded me. "Sure hyung." I said. "Okay. Bye. Take care you two." Namjoon hyung said. "We will. Same with you guys. Bye." I said. "Bye." Namjoon hyung said before ending the call. After a few minutes, Areum came back, paid for the gas and drove.

Soon, we arrived the resort. She showed the security guard her ID and drove inside. She parked the car and we both got out of the car. We were immediately greeted by the staffs. "Are you hungry?" She asked. "A bit." I said while smiling awkwardly. She just laughed a bit before holding my hand and dragging me with her inside the resort. The resort was really beautiful. It had a very relaxing vibe. We went to the dining hall and saw that it had the view of the beach. We both sat across from each other. Soon a waiter went to our table to give us the menu. "Go ahead. Order whatever you like." She said while smiling at me. Both of us have our orders and waited. "This place is very amazing." I said. She smiled and nodded in agreement. "I always come here whenever I feel down or whenever I need to clear my mind and make very difficult decisions." She said while looking at the shore. "So why did you come here out of those three reasons?" I asked. She smiled fakely and looked at me. "All of the above." She said. "You know, sometimes there will come a point in your life where you need to choose between two or more things. You can't choose both. You only have to choose one. Each choice has its own pros and cons." She said. "Yeah.. That's right. I mean, I experienced that before I became an idol." I said letting her know and feel that she's not alone.

Park Areum's POV
We've been here since 1 in the afternoon and it's already 5pm. I don't know where Jimin is but he's probably resting. I was now walking on the shore, barefooted. Why do I have to keep making hard decisions.. I just want to live a normal life. I kept walking and thinking for who knows how long until someone hugged me from behind which shocked me a bit. "Yah.. Are you okay? You're thinking too much. Relax a bit." Jimin said and let go of me. I turned around and smiled a bit. "Thanks for everything. Thanks for staying with me even though I'm not in my best condition." I said and hugged Jimin tightly.

Don't get me wrong, I know it's only been a while since Taehyung dumped me. I don't know but even though me and Jimin are best friends, he shows me things or makes me feel things that V never showed or made me feel when we were together. I'm not comparing but Jimin cares for me more than Taehyung..

Jimin hugged me back. "It's what I do. Always remember that I'm always here for you." He said.

Soon, we left the resort and went home. Jimin said he'll just take the cab but I insisted on driving him home since it would be much easier. "Well here we are. Sorry if I made you get home a little late." I said as soon as we made it to their dorm. "Aish, don't be sorry. I had fun." Jimin said. "Well.. See you tomorrow at school I guess?" Jimin continued. "See you tomorrow. Good night Jimin." I said. Jimin smiled and got out from the car. "Good night!" He said and waved.

Soon, I arrived home. I was too lazy to park my car in the garage so I just left it outside. I was about to open the door when my phone rang. I took my phone and saw that Bo Gum was calling me. "Bo Gum-ah, how are you-" I said but got cut off immediately. "This is Bo Gum's mom." "Oh, Auntie! How are you? How's Bo Gum?" I asked. I heard her sob. "Auntie? Is everything okay?" I asked. "I-it's Bo Gum.. He's in the hospital. Please come her quick." She said. I asked for the address of the hospital and went to my car and turned on the engine immediately and drove off.

Once I arrived at the hospital, I asked for the room number and ran. I don't care if my heels where clicking at the quiet hallway. Soon, I saw auntie and hugged her immediately. "What happened?" I asked. "He's sick... He's heart is getting weaker and weaker. I'm scared that I'll lose him. The doctor said that I should probably take him to U.S. to have his surgery since it would be more easier." She said. I couldn't help but let some tears fall. My best friend is getting weak... "I tried everything to lighten up his mood since he's been sad and depressed lately. And the only thing I thought that would be able to make him happy is you." She said. "Me?" "Yes. Hasn't Bo Gum told you yet? He loves you. More than a best friend. Please... I'm begging you. Help me.. Help him." She said while crying. I can't believe it. All this time.... I love him too but just as a best friend... But I don't want him to die... Then I remembered what me and Mr. Song talked about...

"The reason why I called you here is because I want you to.. Leave." Mr. Song said. I stood up in shock. "What? Leave? What do you mean?" I asked. "I want you to go to America and take over your company there. It will serve as your training and after that you can come back here." Mr. Song said. "No. I'm not leaving. My life is here. Not in America." I said. "I know but you need to. No one will manage the company but you." Mr. Song said. "I know but I don't need to leave and train there just send someone to take over the company there for a while. I can train here. I'm not leaving without a more valuable reason than this." I said. Mr. Song sighed and patted my shoulder. "Please think about it more." He said and left.

I looked at Bo Gum who was asleep on the hospital bed looking very weak. I turned to look at Auntie before saying, "I'll do it. I'll go with him to America. But auntie.. I can't promise you that I'll be able to return the feelings he has for me." I said. Auntie just nodded and hugged me while she kept thanking me. I guess I won't be seeing BTS anymore...
