Park Areum's POV
I woke up around 6 since Xander will be finally taking me to the company. I cooked some bacon and eggs and brewed some coffee. I placed the plate on the counter while I sat on the stool. I started to eat my breakfast. After that I washed the dishes and went to the bathroom to take a shower. After I was done I dried my hair while picking some clothes that Serena bought for me... Well with the help of Xander's debit card. After I wore my clothes I applied some light makeup. I don't want Xander nagging again. I took some of the heels that was bought yesterday and wore them. I took out a new bag and placed my important things there. I took one last look in the mirror, satisfied. I took my phone and card with me before leaving my unit. I looked at the unit across from mine, which was Xander's unit. I went to the reception area and sat on the chairs and waited.  Xander told me yesterday that we'll just meet up here. And it looks like I'm early. I looked at my watch and saw it was already 7 am. He's late. I thought. I sighed and started to tap my finger on the armchair. Soon enough I saw Xander walking towards me in a hurry. "You're late." I said, using the words he said yesterday. "I know I'm sorry. Now come on." He said as he held my arm.
Soon, we reached the company. "You go ahead. I'll just park this." Xander said. I nodded and got out from the car. I entered the company and somehow admired it. "Areum! I mean Ms. Park!" Someone called me. I turned my head only to see Serena walking towards me. "Serena! Good morning." I said and smiled. "Come, I'll show you your office. Well.. It's more like Mr. James' office. But since you're here, it will also be your office." Serena said. I chuckled and nodded. "Great! Let's go! I'm so happy that I'll get to work for you. Mr. James hasn't found you a secretary yet so I'll be your secretary too.. Well until Mr. James finds one for you." Serena said while we took the elevator. Soon, we reached the top floor. There were many hallways until we reached a long hallway along with some cubicles on the sides. There was a huge door at the end of the hallway which I'm assuming is Xander's office and we'll.. Mine. We entered the office and I admired it. It was huge and organized. The wall across from the door was replaced by a large glass window which makes you admire the view of the city. "Do you like it?" Serena asked as she places her folders on her desk. "I love it. I hope my office back home will be like this." I said. "By the way, where's the bathroom?" I asked. "It's at the hallways, you'll see them right away." Serena said. "Okay. Thanks." I said as I left the office. I passed by the hallways until I saw the female's comfort room. After I was done with my business, I washed my hands and fixed my clothes a bit. As soon as I left the comfort room, I bumped into someone. "I'm so-" I was about to apologize but got cut off rudely. "Watch where you're going b*tch." the girl said. She was wearing a tight dress and a very red lipstick. Seriously? Does the company have like a dress rule or something? "Excuse me? What did you just called me?" I asked calmly. "Are you deaf or something? You heard me. Now get out of the way." She said and shoved me to the side. I scoffed. "You don't know who I am, do you?" I said. "Why would I need to know? You're probably someone who's not important." She said and went inside the comfort room. I shook my head and made my way back to the office. As I reached the hallway to the office, I saw the employees gathering around with Xander in front. "Ah there she is." Xander said and motioned me to join him in front. "Everyone, this is Ms. Park Areum. She's the chairwoman of Park Industries. She's the big boss of the company. Let us all welcome her." Xander said and the employees clapped their hands. I smiled and greeted them. "Good morning. I hope I could get along with all of you. It would be my pleasure working with all of you." I said. Some employees smiled back. "Okay now. Back to work guys!" Xander said. "Let's go." He said as he opened the door to his office for me and Serena. "So what's the agenda today?" I asked as I sat on the couch. "Well, there's a meeting around 9 then another one around 2." Serena said while facing the computer. "Good. Areum, you're coming with me later on those meetings okay?" Xander said. "Okay." I said. "Oh Xander~" Someone said. Well turned our heads only to see the girl I bumped into earlier. She didn't spare me and Serena a glance and walked towards Xander, hugging him. Me and Serena shared a look before rolling our eyes. I stood up and cleared my throat. "Excuse me, but you can't just barge in our office like that." I said. The girl turned around and looked at me from head to toe. "Oh it's you." She said while faking a smile. "Who are you? Do you have an appointment?" I asked while looking strict. "I'm Victoria Taylor. A model and Xander's girlfriend." the girl who's so called Victoria said. "Darling, who is she?" She asked Xander before giving me a disgusted look that only I can see. "Oh right, I forgot to tell you. Remember when I told you the other day that I'll be picking up a boss of ours?" Xander said. "Yes. I remember." Victoria said. "Victoria, meet Park Areum. The chairwoman and the big boss of Park Industries." Xander said while smiling. Victoria stared at me with wide eyes which made me smirk. "Oh. My. Gosh. You're Ms. Park? I.. I am so honored to meet you. I heard so many about your company's success. It's so nice to finally meet you." She said as she walked towards me while placing her hand for me to shake. I just looked at her hand before looking at her blankly. "Nice to meet you too." I said while giving her a fake smile before walking away. "Xander, do you mind if I take Serena with me for a moment?" I asked. "Go ahead. Be quick though." Xander said and I nodded. "Let's go Serena." I said as I waited for her. Once we left the office she started to laugh. "Oh my gosh Areum, her face was so priceless!" Serena said. I laughed a bit. "Well she deserved it." I said. "Anyways, where are we headed to?" Serena asked. "To the cafe across the street. I heard their pastries are delicious." I said while smiling sheepishly.
