Park Areum's POV
Once my alarm went on, I felt Cookie pounce on me for me to wake up. Probably because he's hungry as I am. "I'm up Cookie.." I said groggily. I turned off my alarm and stood up. I took my clothes and went to the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror and saw how haggard I was. I took off my clothes and proceeded to take a shower. Once I was finished, I dried myself and put on my uniform. I dried my hair and let it fall on my back since I'm too lazy to put it in a bun or ponytail. I went downstairs to see Cookie lying on the floor while staring at his empty bowl. Aish this dog.. I smiled and took his bowl and filled it with dog food. Once I placed it down, Cookie put all his attention to his food. I opened the fridge to see what I could cook for breakfast. I took out some eggs and began to cook.

While I was eating my breakfast, I kept thinking on how am I going to surprise V since it's our first month together and I'm so excited. But even though I'm excited, I can't help but to think about his behavior for the past few days, weeks, and month. Maybe he's just tired from all the work and fan meets. He is an idol after all.. I thought. I sighed and placed the plate on the sink for me to wash later when I get home. "Bye Cookie!" I said as I closed and locked the door.

I texted V if he's gonna walk with me to school or he's gonna go with his hyungs.

Hey, are we gonna walk together to school?

I waited for his reply but sadly there was none. I sighed and walked to school alone.. Or I thought. "Hey!!" Jackson said as he flung his arm on my shoulder which I immediately shrug off. "Yah, how many times do I have to tell you to stop flinging your arm on my shoulder. I don't want people to get the wrong idea." I said. Jackson rolled his eyes. "I know you don't care what people would think. You're scared what your BOYFRIEND would think." "Yeah, especially the fact that it's our first month together then he'll see me with a guy who has his arm flung on my shoulder." I said while glaring at him. Jackson only laughed before saying. "Hate to break it to you but you might not know that he could also be flinging his arm on other girls." I glared at him. I mean if glaring could kill, he'd probably be dead right now. "Don't say such things. He wouldn't do that." I said, defending V. "Okay fine fine. You win. Geez, I was just joking. Anyways, my exam starts like 10 am and I'd probably get the results before dismissal." Jackson said. "Well good luck then. I know you can pass it. Fighting!" I said while raising my fists doing the fighting sign. "So, I'll see you later? You know, for me to show you the results?" Jackson asked as he placed some of his books in his locker while I lean my back on the locker beside his since my locker was in the other hallway. "Hmm.. I don't know. Me and V would be celebrating our first month together later I guess.. I'm still not sure since I still haven't seen him." I said. Jackson closed his locker and sighed. "That's a bummer. Well I'll be going to the library to review for my exam later. Good luck on your date I guess." Jackson said while smiling a bit which I returned. "Yeah sure. Good luck on your exam. If you pass your exam I might consider cooking some carbonara for you." I said while smirking. Jackson's eyes widened. "Are you serious?!?! I'll pass that test!!! For the sake of carbonara!" he said and hurried to go to the library. I laughed and headed to my locker.

I was already in the classroom waiting for the time to pass since it's still early. "Areum-ah~" someone sang my name. I turned my head and saw Jimin running towards me. "Well someone's hyper." I said while laughing a bit. Then the others also entered the room and greeted me and went to their seats. "Taehyung's not with us today. He said he went to the airport to pick up his dad who just finished business in Malaysia." Suga said. I frowned slightly. "So he's not gonna attend school?" I asked hoping he would attend later in the afternoon. "Sadly, no." Jungkook said. I sighed. I could just cook some food and bring it with me to their house so we could also have dinner with his parents.. Sounds like a good idea to me.

After school, I went to the convenience store to buy a few ingredients for the food that I'll be cooking. As I was walking home, I kept ringing V's phone but he wouldn't pick up and I was starting to get worried and frustrated. I huffed and shoved my phone in my pocket and kept walking.

As soon as I opened the door, Cookie pounced on me making me let go of the groceries. "Aww I missed you too buddy, but I need to cook right now." I said and patted his head. I picked up the grocery bags and headed to the kitchen to cook.

I took a deep breath, obviously tired from all the cooking. I placed the food on different containers and placed them in a bag. I went upstairs to take a quick shower. I wouldn't want V and his family to smell this kind of odor on me. It would be so embarrassing since I literally smell like food right now.

I opened my closet to pick what I should wear. I picked out a light pink laced dress. Jin will be so proud of me Hahahaha. I could even imagine what he would say. Probably "You made the right choice." or "You have a great sense in style." Hahahahaha. Makeup isn't really my thing. I only apply makeup when I need to. So I just put some powder on my face and applied some lip and cheek tint on my lips and cheeks. Once I was done I headed downstairs and took the bag that had the foods I cooked. I took my phone and keys and placed them inside my bag. "Bye Cookie!! I'll be back!" I said and locked the door and made my way to V's house.

It was already 6 pm so it was dark and a bit cold. While walking, I saw a couple from afar, holding hands and laughing. I can't see their faces since the light post was a bit dim. Once they were near, I was able to see who they were. And it shocked me. Anger started to fill up inside me. "What the hell?!?!" I said. "Areum? I.. I can explain.." "Why are you with her?!?!" I said, letting anger get the best of me. He only looked at me, still holding her hand. "Answer me! Why are you with her?! Why are you holding hands with her?! Answer me V!" I said, tears threatening to fall. That's right. V is holding hands with another girl. And that girl happened to be Minji. V let go of her hand and walked towards me. "Look, I'm sorry. But... Let's break up. I know it's tough but.. It's just not the same anymore." V said and my heart sank. "W-why? Is it something I did wrong? We could still w-work this out right? Right? Please don't leave me. You promised me!" I pleaded. And soon,  the tears that I've been trying to hold, fell. Tears started streaming down my face. V just looked down and sighed. "I love you but... I love her more." he said. "How could you do this to me?!?! You promised me! Why?!?! You lied to me!!!" I said and began hitting his shoulder but it wasn't that strong since I feel so weak right now. "Because you didn't have any time for me anymore!" V shouted. "Ever since you started to tutor that Jackson you lost time for me! Whenever I would ask you to go out you would always decline saying you had to tutor Jackson! So don't blame me if I chose to be with Minji!" V furiously said. I couldn't control myself and slapped him. "I can't believe you! I tutored him because I needed to!" I said. "You needed to or you "wanted" to?" V said while looking at me with no emotion. I looked at Minji who was behind V, watching us while smirking. "This is all your fault! What did I do to you huh?!" I said and went straight to Minji and began pulling her hair. Minji started to scream and V pushed me to let go of Minji. "Don't you ever touch my girlfriend ever again!" V said while glaring at me. "Can't you see?! She's just using you! She just wants us to break up! I was just busy for a month and now you already replaced me?!?!" I shouted, hoping V will get some sense into his head. "Just leave us be Areum! We're over! All because of you! Ever since you began hanging out with that Jackson, Minji was the only one who comforted me. Just go and move on." V said and held Minji's hand and walked away. Leaving me in tears. "Just go and move on." "Just go and move on." "Just go and move on." Those words kept repeating in my head. He left me... I looked down and saw the bag I was supposed to bring at V's house, on the pavement. I slowly picked it up, tears still streaming down my face. Was it really my fault? But I already told him about the tutoring thing and he said it was okay... I never cheated on him... I thought. I turned around and made my way home. On the way home, I passed by on an alley and saw an old lady looking for food in the garbage can. "Here, you can have this." I said and gave the old lady the bag of food. I saw her face lit up and she immediately thank me. But once she saw my face, her brows furrowed. "Why are you crying dear?" she asked. I faked a smile and shook my head. "Oh, don't mind me. I'm okay. I'll be going now. I hope you enjoy the food." I said and left.

Once I got home, I immediately went upstairs, even ignoring Cookie. I locked myself up in my room and began crying again. What did I do to deserve this? Everyone keeps leaving me... I thought. I stared at myself from the mirror across the room and saw my state. No one loves me... No one will ever love me...
