Chapter 21

Unknown POV
"Get her inside the van." I ordered the two men that were with me. The third guy opened the van. I made my way to the driver's seat when I heard something got hit. I turned to look and my eyes widened with what I saw. The guy who opened the door is knocked out. And the girl was awake. What?!

Park Areum's POV
As I felt them dragging me towards the van I opened my eyes and kicked the guy who opened the door straight on the face. I smirked when he got knocked out by me. Since the two guys who were holding me were too shocked, they didn't noticed that their grip on my arms are already loose. I yanked my arm and took my baseball bat. "Yah! Get her!" The one with the cap said. The two men ran towards me ready to attack. The first guy tried to punch me but I ducked. Then I hit his stomach with my bat. The second guy grabbed me by my blazer but I slid out of my blazer. I hit him with my bat too. He fell on the ground while groaning in pain.  I guess you're wondering why I could knock them out with one hit of my bat right? Well, it pays off to be one of the best players of baseball so yeah.. Now back to reality. I immediately took his gun and pointed it at the guy who was wearing a cap. "Who's the weak little girl now?" I said while smirking. "Who ordered you to do this?" I said while still pointing the gun at him. Then the other guy went behind me end held both of my arms, making me let go of my bat. I immediately headbutted him. And he fell on the ground. "I'll ask again, who ordered you to do this?" I asked again. No response. I scoffed. "Tell your boss that he's a coward. If he wants to fight me then he should fight me face to face, not order some stupid goons to do the job. Okay?" I said. Then the guy with the cap laughed. "Why would I listen to you? You can't even use a gun. You're the coward one." I smirked. "Are you challenging me? Then challenge accepted." And with that, I pulled the trigger and the bullet landed next to his foot. Which he got startled. But he smirked instantly. "You missed." "Oh, I did that on purpose. I'm not heartless and violent as you." I said and threw the gun away. And without wasting more time I swung my bat and hitted his stomach then took a run. I spotted a bicycle and took it. I am so freaking late! As soon as I reached my school I got off of the bike and ran. I don't care what I look like right now to be honest. Once I reached my classroom, I slammed the door opened while panting really hard. And as expected, all eyes are on me. "Ms. Park, I'm so glad you decided to join us." The teacher sarcastically said. I just rolled my eyes and went to my seat. After some minutes, Taehyung passed a paper to me. "Why were you late?" I took my pen and replied. "I overslept. So I ran as fast as I could to get here." And after that I passed the paper to him. He just smiled which I also returned.
