Park Areum's POV

"I like you. Can you go out on a date with me?" Once those words came out of Jungkook's mouth I immediately stopped patting Cookie's head. I looked at Jungkook seriously. "Is that supposed to be a joke?" I asked. Jungkook took a deep breath first before replying. "Do I look like I'm joking?" He said. My eyebrows furrowed. "I don't know.. Maybe? Besides, haven't we talked about this? You told me I wasn't your type and you don't like me. I told you to keep it that way. And now you're asking me out on a date? What's with you Jeon?" I said while looking at him. "Yes I said that but that doesn't mean it's true. I lied okay? I just wanted to know you a little bit more before asking you out... Remember when we played truth or dare? When you chose dare I told you to go out with me right? Why do you think I would come up with a dare like that if I don't like you?" He said and looked at me. He took both of my hands and held it while looking at me before speaking again. "Look Areum.. I really like you.. I really do. I'm not asking you to like me back but it will really make me happy if you do but if you don't.. It's okay, I respect your feelings but all i want to ask you is to go out on a serious date with me. It's okay if it will be our first and last date but at least let me prove myself to you. Let me prove that what I am feeling for you is true." He said still holding my hands. I... I don't know what to say.. I mean... Jeon Jungkook.. the Jeon Jungkook of BTS is right in front of me, holding my hands and asking me out on a date. I looked back at Jungkook. He looks sincere. Should I say yes? But.. How about V? Wait. What about him? It's not like I like him right? Right?!?! Ugh.. Ever since these two came into my life I became confused. A date won't hurt right? "What if I say no?" I asked Jungkook. His face fell at my question. "Look Jungkook, you're a nice guy. But I don't want to hurt you. I don't deserve a guy like you. I'm broken. There's plenty of beautiful girls out there who deserves you more than I do." I said. "If I get hurt then so be it. It would be an honor to be hurt by you. I don't care if there are plenty of girls out there. You're the one I like that's what's important." He said while smiling sincerely. I took a deep breath and looked at Jungkook. "Alright. I'll go out on a date with you Jeon." I said while smiling slightly. Maybe it won't be so bad.. Jungkook smiled widely. "Really?! Are you serious?!" Jungkook said and immediately stood up and sat beside me. I laughed at his reaction and smiled at him. "Yes. You heard me right. I'm going out on a date with you Jeon." I said. His eyes widened and what he did after, shocked me. He stood up and pulled me towards him, lifting me off the ground and hugged me tightly. "Thank you Areum! I promise, you won't regret saying yes!" He said while hugging me. "Umm Jeon.. I hate to ruin your moment but all of the customers are looking at us right now.." I said, feeling my face heat up because of embarrassment. He chuckled softly and put me down. "Sorry about that.. Anyways, can you stop calling me Jeon? It sounds... Weird." He said. "What's so weird about that? It's part of your name yet you find it weird when I call you Jeon?" I asked. He shrugged. "You can just call me Jungkook or Kookie." He said then smirked. I looked at him confusingly. "Or if you like, you can call me... Oppa." He said while smirking. Seriously this guy.. I looked at him and smirked. "Jeon is fine with me." I said. Jungkook groaned while playfully rolling his eyes. "Let's go before they realize that we're cutting classes." I said and made my way out of the ice cream parlor.

"So Jeon... Why me?" I asked while me and Jungkook were walking. Cookie was no longer with us. We both dropped him back to the pound since I couldn't bring him to school with us. I wonder when I could really keep Cookie.. I just don't have the time to take care of it.. Anyways, back to the topic.. Jungkook smiled. "Well.. Maybe because you're somehow special." Somehow special.... I think I heard that before... We both climbed on the fence and now we're in school again. Good thing the guard was taking his nap. Me and Jungkook are now walking towards our lockers to get our things. We were about to part ways when we heard someone shouting. We both turned around and saw someone running towards us... What the actual hell?!
