Chapter 26

Park Areum's POV

"Aish, do you really have to make things harder for me now?" The person said and placed his hand on my forehead. I forced my eyes to open and looked at the person beside me. "What are you doing here Namjoon?" I asked while trying to sit. "I.... I.. I just wanted to apologize... I was wrong... I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I just wanted what I think was best for my members.. Jungkook tried to talk some sense to me.. I'm so sorry.. I hope you can forgive me." Namjoon said while looking down. I looked at him for a moment and sighed. "Fine.. I forgive you." I said and Namjoon immediately looked at me. "R-really? You forgive me?" He asked, probably shocked by the fact that I forgave him easily. I just nodded before saying, "Just promise me two things. One, don't do it again. And lastly, I want you to trust me." I said and looked at him. He nodded and said, "I promise. I'll never break that promise.. ever." I smiled a bit and lay down on the couch again. "You can leave now Namjoon.. The others might be waiting for you. Don't make them worry.." I said while my eyes are closed, probably because of the fact that I'm too tired and sick. "No. I won't leave yet." He said. "Why?" I asked. "Because you're sick. If they find out that I left you alone here while you're sick and didn't even bother to take care of you, they'll probably kill me." He said and laughed. "Besides, I brought some soup that Jin hyung made. It would at least make you feel better." He said and took out the soup in the plastic bag and gave it to me. "Thanks." I said and gave him a small smile. I tasted the soup and my eyes widened. "This is so good! Tell Jin I love it!" I said to Namjoon and finished eating to which Namjoon chuckled."

I'm now lying on the couch while waiting for Namjoon. Then he came back with a cold wet towel and placed it on my forehead. "Thank you, Namjoon." I said while feeling a bit sleepy. "No worries." He said and gave me a smile, showing his dimples. "You know, you should smile more often, let them see that cute dimple of yours." I said and finally closed my eyes.

Rapmonster's POV

"You know, you should smile more often, let them see that cute dimple of yours." Areum said and closed her eyes. She's probably tired and really not feeling well. A few minutes later, I noticed that she's already asleep. I looked at her sleeping face while her words not leaving my mind. "You know, you should smile more often, let them see that cute dimple of yours." Now I know why they like you... That behind those emotionless face, that cold attitude... You have a sweet and caring side.. no wonder they fell for you..

I looked at Areum who was now leaving while extremely pissed off. Me and Jungkook are the only ones left now in the corridor. "Yah hyung! Why did you say that?!" Jungkook said while looking pissed. "What? Don't tell me I was wrong?!" I snapped back. "Well guess what hyung?! You're wrong! You don't have the right to tell those things to her. You don't even know her! I'll ask you, what if you were in her place, you have no one, no parents, no friends.. And you're extremely hurt but you don't want other people to see you being such a weak person, what will you do?" he asked while staring at me seriously. I just stayed silent. I'll probably do what Areum is doing now.. I thought. "See? I know you'll probably do the same." He said and left.

I took a paper and pen on the coffee table and wrote to Areum that I'll be going home since it's getting late then placed the pen and paper back on the coffee table then stood up. I fixed the blanket on Areum and walked to the door. I gave her one last glance and left. As I got out, I saw someone walking towards Areum's house. Once he saw me standing on Areum's porch, he stopped. "Who are you and what are you doing outside Areum's house?" The guy asked while he walked towards me. "Oh, I'm just Areum's friend, I just decided to pay her a visit but she's sick so I took care of her for a while. You, who are you?" I asked. He just smiled. "I'm Bo Gum.. Her best friend." Hmmm Bo Gum? I think I heard that name somewhere.. "Cool, I guess I'm leaving then. See you around." I said and walked home.

Once I reached our dorm, I was greeted by members. "Finally you're here, we can finally have dinner." Suga said and went to the dining room and the rest of us followed. While we were eating Jin hyung suddenly asked. "By the way Namjoon, why did you made me cook soup earlier? Who was it for?" "Oh... I.. It was for Areum..." I said, almost a whisper but for sure they still heard it. "WHAT?! WHY?!" Jungkook and V said in unison. Jungkook glared at V while V just rolled his eyes. "I just wanted to apologize to her okay? Nothing more." I explained and the two of them both sighed in relief. "And by the way, Areum said that the soup you made was delicious. She loved it." I said to Jin hyung. "Really? That's nice to hear. I'll make her some more sometime." Jin hyung said and continued to eat while I notice Jungkook and V glaring at Jin hyung.
